Stonehaven is a favourite short holiday destination and the wee hoose in the woods was just perfect.
The property was exceptionally clean: not a speck of dust or dirt. The bed and furniture were comfy and the bathroom spacious. The location was secluded yet handy for Stonehaven and the area in general. Although most of the other houses, seemingly, were occupied we hardly heard anyone.
The proximity of the main road, just beyond the boundary trees, meant that the sound of traffic was a wee bit intrusive at night with windows open. Obviously this isn’t something that could be rectified and it won’t prevent us recommending the property or booking again.

On the day of our arrival I noticed there was what seemed to be water damage to the ceiling in the sitting room and later found a lesser amount of the same damge to the bathroom upstairs. I e.mailed my findings to you but received no reply so after the week was almost over I phoned and reported it again.
