Really comfortable caravan with all that you need in a lovely setting close to Stonehaven. Comfortable bed, modern shower, tv etc. The setting is gorgeous with a lovely view of the sea from the decking area. The horses are so beautiful & we could have watched them all day. My toddler son loved watching the horse lessons from the window. Overall great value for money. Thank you so much. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend or return.

Nice comfortable caravan (and a patio area), a short drive away from Stonehaven, Dunnottar Woods and Castle and various other interesting things in the area. Nice outlook over fields with horses and you have literally a ringside seat for any lessons going on in the adjacent menage. The fact there was no extra charge for our two dogs was particularly appreciated. Our puppy was still sleeping in her crate overnight and there was plenty of room for that in front of the unused door into the lounge area without it getting in the way.

Surrounded by a horse training school and a farm, the property had everything we needed. Very close to the Dunnotar castle.

Location, views & price. Welcome to walk around the farm & livery yard, friendly staff & lovely owner. Horses very well looked after & interesting to watch private lessons & schooling - great facilities on the yard. There was a good bar-b-que & fire pit area with lovely views over fields to the sea, behind the caravan, which I think would have been great, sadly weather not good enough to take advantage of it. Owners happy to have local family members over to the caravan to visit for lunch/ dinner, which was great. Good electric heater in main bedroom so nice & cosy in the bedroom. Good shower, old but comfortable seating in pleasant living room.
Not sure, but would think that young girls prepared the caravan, & they do not realise they do not have same attention to detail. Undersheet on our double bed did not appear clean, (lots of bits of grass, wool bobbles from socks etc so looked like had been slept in for a night) bed linen extremely poor quality, pillows as flat as biscuits, duvet far too small, so next day went to Dunelm & purchased all new bedding (which we took home with us). Then discovered the duvet was a single used horizontally in a double duvet cover on a double bed! There was another duvet in top of wardrobe though all scrunched up but discovered that far too late. Gas fire old & couldn’t get to work efficiently & a bit worriesome. Suggest remove & have a mobile electric fan heater. There was also a new oil filled radiator but it didn’t heat living room very well unless you were sitting on top of it. Kitchen equipment not that great - only just enough crockery & cutlery for 4, although loads of mugs, and utensils. Great looking set of knives but each was so blunt would not cut bacon wrapper! We had to purchase a casserole dish as nothing like that available, and scissors. The saucepans stored too high in cupboard over sink & above my head & a heavy glass lid almost hit me on my head when I lifted a saucepan out - there’s an almost empty cupboard under sink so needs a shelf & saucepans can go there with no danger! Hand wash & dish soap provided which was good, but no bottles of cleaning fluid at all, so could only wipe down surfaces with dishcloth when left, not give it a good clean. Toaster, kettle, microwave etc were fine so assumed they were new-ish as nothing had a Pat-testing label. For all that, the living room was comfortable when not cold ( weather not great).
