Island in the sky! Acropolis and city views!

Great balcony, large. Very clean.

Aircon did not get as cold as it should. Needs a service.

Our stay at Island in the Sky, Acropolis and City Views was excellent. The highlight is definitely the incredible terrace with stunning views of Athens and the Acropolis — the perfect place to relax and enjoy the city from above. The location is also excellent, in a lively area surrounded by many restaurants, bars, and shops, which made it very easy and enjoyable to explore Athens on foot. The apartment was comfortable, clean, and well equipped. Having a washing machine was a huge plus for us, as it allowed us to do laundry before boarding our cruise, which made our trip much easier. Overall, a very practical, well located, and beautiful place to stay in Athens.

De locatie

De aankleding op het dakterras was niet zoals op de foto's. Weinig bescherming tegen de zon bv. parasol en de zitmogelijkheden waren duidelijk anders dan op de foto en flink versleten. Het huisje was perfect.

The bed was incredibly comfortable- perfect after a long day travelling. Location was great- walkable to the Acropolis, great neighbourhood vibe with plenty of food and drink options. The roof terrace a great bonus- although we didn’t end up using this due to short stay

The property smelt really stuffy and stale when we arrived which was really overpowering. The hallway lights didn’t work on final stairwell. Not great for early checkout as need to run up and down 6 floors to open/check ground floor main door- risk of being locked in. Temperamental lift- it got stuck on floors several times during our stay. Hammock was prominently advertised but not available for our stay. Appreciate it was out of order but would have liked to have been told/ have up to date photos.
