The accommodation is totally private so guests can enjoy all their space in exclusivity.

Un grand merci à monsieur carneiro pour son hospitalité. L’appartement est superbe et très bien placé en plein centre ville. La propreté est irréprochable et l’appartement est très bien équipé. Nous avons passé un séjour de rêve. Encore merci.

Das Apartment ist ideal für den Urlaub mit der Familie. Die Küche ist modern und mit fast allen Utensilien ausgestattet und sehr gepflegt. Die auf der Website eingestellten Bilder sprechen für sich.
Die Lage des Apartments in Povoa de Varzim am Rande der Fußgängerzone ist der ideale Ausgangspunkt für den Strandurlaub sowie für Ausflüge. Der gepflegte Strand und die Strandpromenade mit Cafes, Restaurants und Geschäften sind mit 5 Minuten Fußweg erreichbar. Ein Lebensmittelgeschäft befindet sich direkt unter der Wohnung, eine Bäckerei ist 2 Minuten entfernt. Es gibt Restaurants, die mittags preiswert Tagesgerichte (portugiesische Küche) anbieten. Empfehlenswert ist hier das Restaurant „Firmino“. Wer mit dem Mietwagen anreist, findet (derzeit noch) einen kostenlosen Parkplatz an der Polizeistation. In unmittelbarer Nähe des Apartments gibt es nur kostenpflichtige Parkplätze. Die Metrostation ist in 15 Minuten fußläufig erreichbar. Mit derzeit 2,80 Euro/Fahrt bietet sich ein Ausflug nach Porto per Bahn an. Im Übrigen ist Povoa de Varzim durch die Autobahnanbindung (kostenpflichtig) ein idealer Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge im Norden Portugals: Nationalpark Geres, Viana do Castelo, Braga, Guimaraes, Barcelos, etc. Wer sich für heimische Kultur und Tradition interessiert, sollte seinen Urlaub zu den „Festas do S. Pedro“ Ende Juni/Anfang Juli einplanen.

Povoa is ideally situated for trips to Porto by metro. Within walking distance to the beaches. Daniel is a great host, even providing us with a new coffee percolator. If you need parking do your homework beforehand . Overall a great experience.
