Apartamento Quinta Nova

Shout out to Nilda, the property manager, slash maid, slash courier! She does everything and was so accessible to me; I was truly grateful! She even mailed me some items I had forgotten, all in a very timely manner. What travelers need to know: Mind the mini step up at the main door. My GPS was crazy and struggled to locate the exact parking area for this huge building, so if this happens to you, too, don´t feel jaded. Chanel 16 is about the only channel in English - if you wanted to know. Also, you need to press the remote buttons just so that they work. Lastly, I found communication with the owner to all but drop off entirely leading up to and after this stay...

The walls are not soundproofed here. I state this because it was a massive selling point for me to stay this far outside of the city. But I could easily hear the neighbors above me coming and going, and while they enjoyed the balcony. Also, it was easy to hear the noise from the hallway if I didn´t close the salon door. This place is massive and as someone raised in the suburbs, it was crazy intimidating. Also, there wasn´t a public trash can to be found on the grounds (parents might want to know this).

The apartment is bright, spacious, and well equipped. The outside spaces and swimming pools are not in use, so it looks neglected, but inside common areas and the apartment itself were spotless. It is exactly like in the pictures. We found a car is essential, but it’s only a few minutes’ drive to the village where there are lots of bars, restaurants, cafes, and a fabulous boardwalk. There is a large supermarket (Pingo Doce), which had everything we needed, including a hot counter with cooked food. We found it difficult to find using Google Maps or the link from Booking.com, so here are some directions which may help someone else to find it easier than we did: • Turn off at Camping Alvor (On your left coming from Airfield side or right coming from Alvor village) • After Pelican Hotel turn right at traffic island into complex • Follow road around and turn left (Dunas Café on your right) • At roundabout, keep right • Follow road around to left at sign for Navigator Hotel • Club Alvor Golf building is ahead. Parking on road.

Tudo. O apartamento é incrivelmente grande, a cozinha + sala de estar incrível com aquela vista. Tem muita claridade o que eu pessoalmente, adoro! As varandas são enormes e muito agradáveis de se estar. O ambiente é tranquilo e muito bom, perto de tudo ... Adorei tudo, principalmente a acessibilidade em poder ficar com as minhas gatas! Anfitrião simpático e Sr. ª da Limpeza também simpática.

Certainement l'appartement le plus propre dans lequel j'ai logé. Très bien équipé. Proche de la très belle plage très irmaos.
