We had a wonderful stay at Lemon Tree House and would happily return. The villa was extremely comfortable, spotlessly clean and very well equipped with everything we needed for a relaxing family holiday. The air conditioning throughout was excellent and much appreciated in the July heat, and the pool was fantastic – our boys spent hours in it every day. The location was perfect, set in beautiful, peaceful countryside while still being only around 10 minutes from several stunning beaches. We also enjoyed activities nearby, including sea kayaking in Sesimbra, so there was plenty to do. A special thank you to Tanya, who was a fantastic host. She was always quick to respond, incredibly helpful with local recommendations and made us feel very welcome throughout our stay. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this villa to anyone looking for a relaxing holiday in a beautiful part of Portugal, and we hope to return ourselves in the future.

The villa is in a peaceful countryside location, so having a car is essential. For us, this was actually part of its charm, as it provided a relaxing setting while still being only a short drive from beautiful beaches, restaurants and local attractions.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this beautiful property in Sesimbra. The house is stunning—thoughtfully designed with a modern, elegant touch that makes it both stylish and incredibly comfortable. Every detail feels carefully curated, and the layout is exceptionally well thought through, making the space feel both spacious and welcoming. One of the highlights for us was the pool, which truly elevates the experience and adds a sense of luxury to the stay. The property is also wonderfully quiet, offering a peaceful retreat, and the air conditioning is excellent—keeping the home perfectly cool and comfortable, even on warmer days. Tanya, the host, was outstanding. From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely welcomed—she had fresh fruit, cold water, drinks, and even wine ready for us, which was such a thoughtful touch after traveling. Throughout our stay, she was incredibly responsive and attentive, always making sure we had everything we needed. She even went the extra mile to enable the TV so I could watch the World Cup games, which I really appreciated. Overall, this property exceeded our expectations in every way. It’s the perfect combination of comfort, style, and hospitality. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

The home is set in a beautifully rustic area that feels wonderfully authentic and removed from the crowds. The surroundings have a raw, local charm—with a mix of well-kept homes and more weathered properties—that gives the area a genuine, unpolished character. While this may not have the polished feel of a resort setting, it adds to the sense of being immersed in real, local life. Despite the tranquil, countryside feel, Sesimbra and Setúbal are only minutes away, offering a seamless transition to more vibrant and refined coastal spots with great restaurants, beaches, and amenities.

Wat hebben we hier genoten! Het huis is mooi en precies zoals op de foto's. Er is echt aan alles gedacht: van strandspullen tot een volledig uitgeruste keuken en leuke spelletjes. De bedden slapen heerlijk en het uitzicht is adembenemend, vooral tijdens de zonsondergang. Tanja is een geweldige host: ze gaf ons volop tips voor restaurants en leuke plekjes en stond altijd voor ons klaar.
