Wonderful and peaceful stay close to city center

To start with a great host. We were welcomed by Nikos. He brought our large suitcases upstairs. This was very nice for me because I experience physical problems. In the room we were given a full explanation about the operation and presence of certain things. We had room 4, the corner room at the front with a large balcony. Really great room and a balcony with nice view of the street. This street leads directly to the cosy old city center of Chania. The plant in the room and on the balcony really added to the atmosphere for us. Just like the fresh use of color in the room. We could also use a parking space for our car at the rear of the building for a fee (10 per day). This was a real plus. The biggest plus for us was the bed. We visited 8 accommodations during our trip and at Agave Suites we slept the very best. Because I have physical complaints that consist of chronic nerve pain in the lower back, it is very difficult for me to find a suitable bed somewhere to sleep well. I therefore have to be very critical. A bed is quickly too firm/hard for me. In this case, the mattress and especially the topdeck mattress was wonderfully soft. It is important that a mattress adapts to the shape of the vertebrae. This is still often underestimated. Therefore, consider for yourself whether this information is valuable to you.

A beautiful stay in a perfect location to explore Chania

I booked Agave suites very last minute and was accommodated for extremely well. Everything was perfect - stylish, comfortable and a great location. Nikos was lovely, super helpful either way information and very responsive!

Perfect apartment in Chania with parking

The apartment is perfectly located in Chania, especially when coming by car - parking can be arranged just behind the apartment. Even though the location is very central, it was still very quiet at night. The apartment itself is very well designed and thought through - we had everything we needed: a super comfortable bed, good blinds, a small fridge with some water inside, and a good shower. On top, everything was very clean and the interior was beautiful! Nikos arranged a perfect check in for us and provided great recommendations for food in Chania. We had a great time and wish we could have stayed longer! We especially want to mention the cleaning lady who we met while checking out: She was so friendly and caring, thank you! 😊

Staying at the Agave Suites was a delight.

We had a very enjoyable six days stay at the Agave Suites. Our room was spacious and perfect for two people. The room was modern, very clean, had the essential facilities, like an expresso machine, fridge, large TV, daily water, comfortable lounge and chair, full length mirror, iron, hairdryer and straightener and basic shower accessories. Bathroom was large, clean and modern. Towels and shower robes large and fluffy. Aesthetically, the room was very pleasing and cleaning services available every day. Nikolaos our host was exceptional. He met us on arrival, carried our bags up the short stairway and took his time explaining how everything works. He was always available if needed. The location of the suites was excellent - centrally located and a few minutes' walk to the harbour, old town and new town, restaurants, beach, etc. As well as being walking distance (10 minutes) from the central bus station. We would recommend staying at the Agave Suites without hesitation to our family and friends.

Very close to the port and centre where all the shops are. The rooms were extremely clean and new which made both of us feel extra comfortable. The owner Nikos was also very helpful and attentive when needed, giving us a wide range of recommendations for all around Chania which made our time there perfect!

The perfect place to stay to explore Chania!

We had the best experience staying at Agave Suites. The location is perfect for wandering about the old town. Our host, Nikos, was so helpful and attentive from before we arrived - ensuring he was there to meet us and show us around. He gave us many recommendations - all of the ones we chose to do were brilliant. We made the most of our 3 day visit following his recommendations. The room was nicely decorated, and the bed was super comfortable. My husband took a photo of the shower unit as he liked it so much - he wants to buy one for home!! Nikos was available for any additional questions or requests during our stay and kindly organised our airport taxi for us when we were going home (and let us store our bags safely between check out & taxi pick up!) Overall we had a great time, and would recommend the agave suites to all our friends and family!

Great location, super clean, luxurious room

Nikos, the owner was super friendly and gave us great recommendations. He was accommodating when we were delayed checking in and even offered us a late checkout on our final day. Spotlessly clean room, great big bed, very well considered. Good air conditioning.

The most perfect stay in Chania!

The suite was absolutely perfect! It was in the the most convenient spot in Chania old town, tucked away in a quiet street but only 1 minute walking distance from the port! The room was spotless clean, it had everything we needed for our 5 night stay and we will not hesitate to stay there again every time we return to Chania! Nikos was the most incredible host we could have asked for, he was a whatsapp message away whenever we needed him, listed recommendations for many different restaurants and activities and welcomed us with open arms from the minute we arrived! We could not have had a better stay at Agave Suites and we would recommend it to everyone! Thank you Nikos ☺️☺️☺️

The accommodation was modern and well equipped. Everything was high-quality. The room was extremely well decorated and the location was superb. To top it all off, Nikos is the best host I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting. Just a great guy all round. We had a great stay overall! The room was fantastic—very clean, spacious, and comfortable. Nikos was friendly and helpful throughout our visit.

However, the parking situation is horrendous. If you're coming with a car, make sure to reserve a parking spot with Nikos in advance—finding street parking nearby is nearly impossible. Other than that, everything was excellent!

Brilliant stay at Agave!!

The host, Nikos, was just wonderful - so helpful with so many great tips for an amazing stay! The suite was very clean and comfortable, with all the amenities we needed, and so well located - everything you want or need within a 5 to 10 minute walk! Fabulous shopping and restaurants just around the corner - do take Nikos’ advice re local bars and restaurants - we ate and drank so well based on the advice he gave us! You will love Agave Suites - no hesitation in recommending a stay here - just book it!!

Perfect for couples looking for a romantic and relaxing location in the heart of Chania.

A recently renovated location in the heart of Chania, from which you have a perfect line of sight to the Minoan ruins of ancient Kydonia. The rooms are beautiful, spacious, well-equipped, comfortable, well heated and, if I'm being honest, the kind of place you'd take a spouse on a honeymoon. I loved it. Agave Suites does not serve breakfast, but I didn't consider that a problem. There's cafés nearby and, truth be told, you can have a perfectly Cretan breakfast if you go on any market nearby and get yourself some great cheeses (try and get some mizithra!), honey, yogurt and tea. There's a great laundry down the street, too. The host is fantastic, communicative and will gladly give you suggestions of worthwhile places nearby. Do take a minute to check the restaurants nearby, they all have a great view to the sea. If you're looking for a place near the Minoan ruins of Chania, there's no better location. And, like I said, a room here would not disappoint for a honeymoon; come here with your partner, forget your worries, and just enjoy each other's company.

No complaints, if I come back to Chania I'll go with my partner and try and book a room here again.

Would Stay Here Again!

Our hosts were so warm and welcoming. The host who greeted us took a lot of time to show us the property, give us great options for dining and sightseeing. The room was very comfortable and well-appointed with nice little extras that showed a great deal of attention to detail from the hosts. The location was excellent as well with just a short walk to the old town/port, and to various cafes, shops and historical buildings.

Awesome Agave

Everything was excellent from the initial communication, welcome, location, apartment, facilities, off street parking. Nikos is a savvy host who did more than enough to make our stay a great stay. We thoroughly enjoyed the location and closeness to all the highlights of old town Chania. Everything was in arm's reach - including restaurants, takeaways, cafes, grocery shop at end of street etc. The apartment is modern, clean , comfortable and great little deck for afternoon vino's and across the road from an archeological site, one of many around the streets of Chania. The cleaning is done daily . Thanks to our host for the nice complimentary bottle of wine. Highly recommend this apartment you will not be disappointed. Big thumbs up 👍
