The heart of Hvar

Words cannot describe how amazing this stay in Milna was. The most beautiful humans we’ve ever met. A huge thank you to Mate, Matea, Duje and the rest of the family for making our trip so special and authentic. They’re the real heart of Hvar. We returned our hearts full.

Beautiful setting, Milna is just lovely. Apartment was clean and had everything needed. Bed was comfortable and view was incredible. Thoughtful items left out, olive oil, chocolates etc. Kitchenette was modern and well stocked.

Some instructions would have been good eg how to work the extractor fan/lights over the hob and which colour bin took which items for recycling, but all minor details. Communication was an issue. Instructions about travel from the airport weren’t completely clear and after I made a mistake I was laughed at and told more incorrect information by my host. Not what you need when you’re travelling alone and feeling worried and scared. Luckily I didn’t meet him during my stay and he sent a friend to let me into the apartment after arriving very late and very tired. Once settled, I was able to put this behind me and enjoy my stay.

Wonderful stay

Everything was great. We had an amazing time in Hvar and our stay in this property was part of the great experience we had in the island. It's a calm place not far from Hvar Town (we rented a scooter) and you have a few options of restaurants and a bakery just a few steps away from the apartment. You also have everything you need in the apartment's kitchen. We enjoyed having breakfast in the balcony every morning. The apartment was also very clean and there were always fresh towels available. I hope we will come back there in a near future!

Great location with caring owners

The apartment has a nice location, has everything you need and owners that are very accomodating and attentive. We received a very warm welcome and were invited to their Family restaurant in the middle of a stunning Olive garden. It is easily the best restaurant on Hvar and we can only recommend it!

Perfect place to relax

The balcony views are awesome, the bed was really comfortable, and the apartment was fully equipped. The owners are extremely friendly. The owner gave us some cake pieces baked by her wife and a bottle of homemade wine. I guess we were lucky that he had some spare food and wine :)

The place it’s like the pictures, a dream. Priceless wake up and have the blue ocean view. The owner give us two home made wine bottles. Excellent wine!!! And a chocolate ❤️ Thank you very much for this! - towels - well furnished - kitchen full equipped Own place for parking (this is extremely rare in Croatia!) It was our best staying in all Croatia. Strongly recommend

Amazing place, right on the beach. Owner was very friendly, their restaurant was amazing. Milna is a more quiet little town to explore the rest of the island. This small apartment was the perfect home base to do just that.

The parking space gave us a lot of stress, but you could alternatively also just park somewhere in town (you'd have to pay though)

Amazing apartment in a special place

Amazing Apartment few km from Hvar. The view from the room is something unique and also the location is perfect as it’s located in a really small and quite village. Mate was really kind, he gave us some suggestions and also offered us a bottle of its homemade wine. I also suggest to try Mate’s restaurant (konoba lambik) the food is really good and the atmosphere too.

The towels and bedsheet were not perfectly clean

I don't want to write too nice review as we are hoping to "catch" the room for next summer as well. Haha. Our stay was perfect, location couldn't be better, room had everything we needed and more (we didn't have to think of anything), hosts were there to assist us if we had any extra requests, and beautiful beach was just steps away. From communication ahead our trip to nice little details, like leaving us fresh made mermalade in the morning, everything was perfect. Price is reasonable for what we got. Family restaurant was most beautiful place and food just perfect. Note that you need to have a car if you stay in Milna as shops around area are limited. Parking was also provided and convenient.

So good we wanted more

Waking up to the view of Milna bay was absolutely great. The room has everything you need, it’s clean and comfortable even though it’s not huge. We stayed for a few days and wanted to stay more but it was unfortunately all booked. The owner then offered us to extend the stay in another one of his hotels which was very nice as well and just a few meters away. If you’re looking for a place to be away from the crowds and feel relaxed, this is a great choice.

I really enjoyed my short stay over the water in Milna.

I thought this apartment was wonderful. The staff was very, very helpful with my situation which was challenged by bad weather and a disrupted ferry schedule. They were a wealth of information regarding places I could walk and hike to. The location right over the water was perfect. The bed was super comfortable (as a raging storm was outside I was cozied up in bed watching from the window). The kitchenette had everything I needed. Super comfortable.

This was not unexpected, though it is worth noting that the location is a bit removed. There were not restaurant or market facilities open during shoulder season (Im not sure about a market during the summer). Having a car would be most helpful for people.

Das helle und freundliche Apartment mit einer gut ausgestatteten kleinen Küchenzeile. Alles war in einem gepflegten Zustand. Der Blick vom Balkon auf das Meer war einfach traumhaft.

Piccola ma funzionale

La camera è certamente piccola ma con una dotazione di base sufficiente a passare qualche bella giornata. La struttura ha almeno 3 grandi vantaggi. E' direttamente sul mare, con le due spiagge di Milna nel raggio di 100 mt, e ha il proprio parcheggio. E' ad un quarto d'ora dal traghetto di Stari Grad e se c'è da partire alle 5,30 permette di guadagnare tempo. Infine, è a breve distanza da due fra le spiagge più belle dell'isola: Dubovica e Zarace. Per me, giudizio positivo.

Gli spazi sono certamente ridotti, almeno nella camera che abbiamo prenotato noi. Forse servirebbe qualche mensola in più in bagno e una luce all'uscita dal cancello di casa.
