Wonderful apartment with breathtaking views of Hvar

The view from the balcony is outstanding and the apartment is close to the main port and everything in Hvar. The shared kitchen area was great for keeping drinks cold and we dropped our luggage here when we arrived early in Hvar.

It would have been great to meet to the host at some point during our stay to get some local recommendations for what to do in Hvar.

Excellent host and a great location. Good value for money.

Dolores was a great host and incredibly accommodating when our ferry was cancelled and we needed to stay an additional night. There are a few steps to the apartment, but then there are steps to everywhere in Hvar. The walk into the centre was safe and enjoyable taking us past restaurants and shops on the way.

Lovely room with a view

The shared kitchen had separate mini fridges for each room. They even provided a manual espresso machine for guests! The rooms are small so having this kitchen was a great addition. The balcony had a beautiful view. Quiet and 5 minute walk to the ferry.

Beds could be more comfortable. Overall Hvar very expensive to stay anywhere. Lots of stairs so be prepared.

Outstanding accommodation

Everything, it was perfect. Location close to all bars/ restaurants/ port, room was finished to a very high spec, private outside space to relax on sun loungers with beautiful views. Friendly and welcoming host.

A lovely apartment with the perfect host

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Vinka Tudor. Dolores was the perfect host; she let us drop off our bags early, and the communication with her was excellent ahead of our stay. The room was gorgeous, and the view from the balcony stunning. There was even a little shared kitchen for us to use, which was an extra bonus. Thank you for everything, Dolores!

Thoughtful and scenic

The host was so lovely and even surprised me with an extra treat on my birthday, which was such a thoughtful gesture. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the view was absolutely beautiful. Our room was spacious and comfortable, making it a perfect stay.

Perfect location, lovely apartment and amazing views

Amazing location and the view from the balcony is superb, was a joy to get up every morning and take it in, also on the evening as the sun was setting. Few steps to get up to the property but good for the exercise and literally two minutes from the centre of Hvar.

Took it out of you getting up to the property after an evening of food and alcohol but it honestly wasn't a problem at all.

There are many steps to get to the location but that was already known and the host was very helpful in organising a taxi to get us to as near as possible to minimise steps

Great views in modern apartments in old town close to all amenities.

Excellent view. Great modern rooms with good bathrooms. Close proximity to waterfront, ferry terminals and restaurants.

We were not aware that there would be around 180 stairs from the wharf to the accommodation. Not easy with large suitcases. Taxi drivers could not access due to closed pedestrian areas.

A dream of a location in Hvar!

This property is perfectly located - not in the hubbub of the town, but within a 5 min walk - which means "quiet"! Walk to the right, get to town; walk to the left and head for beaches or rocks for sunbathing or swimming. My room had a view - fabulous! Over the sea, with the small "local" harbor (not the one with the big boats - noisy) just below, and the islands in the distance - a dream to sit on the balcony for breakfast and watch all the boats moving around. The room itself has a decent size, the bathroom is small but functional; and the AC is quiet and effective. There is also a shared kitchen with a mini-fridge assigned to each room (which I used to store things for breakfast), and with coffee provided by the property. The owner, Dolores, did not know what to do to make me happier! She was a true delight - we exchanged messages before my arrival and she promised that my room would be ready for my arrival - 2hrs before normal check-in time - and it was! She offered to have my room cleaned, but I did not need that; and she also gave me "friendly cookies" at departure time, a local "gesture" of goodwill and happiness! I'd stay there any time! BTW, if you go there and like craft-beer, don't miss the Hvar Brewing Company - the beer is great, the view is to faint, the menu is diverse, and the service is oh-so-friendly!

The walls are fairly thin, so just one night (out of 4), the neighbors were a bit noisy for a few hours, I could clearly hear them talking; I was fearing a bad night, but all got quiet again.

Awesome views from the rooms and convenient to the town. Dolores was a gracious hostess and accommodated holding our bags after checkout since we had a late departure from Hvar.

Steps are required to get to the property, but they were not an issue for us.

Lovely little guest house!

Absolutely beautiful location, lovely view out of the port over the sea. Really quiet area that's a 5 minute walk from the centre of the town. The room itself was very comfortable, and the nearby kitchen space had everything we needed. Overall excellent value for money.

Immaculately clean, fantastic views-make sure you book a room with a terrace as it s a perfect spot to relax in. Modern/tastefully renovated room with an excellent shower. Great responsive host and close to all the action in town. Perfect stay!

Perfect stay in a wonderful apartment

The newly renovated property was perfect. Beautiful views from the room and balcony added to the wonderful stay that we had in Hvar. There are cooking facilities that enabled us to relax on the deck with a glass of wine while we ate dinner. Dolores was very helpful with good instructions on how to find the property and offered fresh towels when needed. We had a great stay.

Absolutely amazing balcony and sea views which made this apartment top notch.

I absolutely loved my stay at Vinka Tudor, especially the balcony and sea views. Amazing sunrise each morning and was able to workout on the large balcony to the sunrise. Very modern and clean.

Very tiny kitchenette with no working space. No kettle. Needed to heat water in saucepan which was very quick to do.

Oh my goodness what a view!!

We loved our stay at Vinka Tudor. The rooms are efficient and clean. The balcony overlooks the sea and has a table and chairs for a morning cup of coffee. There is a shared kitchen that is completely set up to provide each room with their own frig. The hostess was fantastic and communicated promptly, and even let us drop our bags earlier then check in.

Nice property, but a long climb.

The room was comfortable. I had been sick, so I needed to relax and the bed was good for that. There were separate refrigerators for each room. Nice modern bathroom. Everything was handled by booking.com emails and it all went smoothly.

You will climb 193 steps to get to the room from the dock, including 40 at the property. Be prepared. I woke up late one day and the shower was tepid. I assume one water heater is used for the three separate rooms at the top of the stairs.

Initial challenge to find the hotel without help . Caught the taxi there and was met with hostess . A few steps going up and down but not hard .

View from Room was amazing The room and the bathroom were also clean Very close to the port where the ferry drops you. Fully equipped kitchen. The property owner was very responsive and helpful. They also have a cute dog you can play with.

Minor hiccup - the property was often hard to find while coming back to it. I had to ask the owner for directions twice as I got lost. But I think that's the problem with all properties in Hvar because they just have a bunch of snaking stairs instead of proper roads. Noise cancellation wasn't good either as I could hear the people in other rooms. This was manageable as well.

Homey guesthouse, well located with beautiful terrace view

Fantastic, very well located near the port and old town of Hvar. The guesthouse is a bit up the hill and therefore you get a fantastic view from the terrace. Dolores & her sister are very nice and helpful, and welcomed us with homemade treats!

The room was a bit small to navigate and the beds were not super comfortable. But you stay for the location and the view and the friendly owner :)

Highly recommended!

Location is excellent, beside the old town, the port, beaches as well as loads of restaurants and bars. Room was very comfortable with frequent towel change and lovely (and needed!) Air-conditioning. Host was fabulous providing tips on islands, different beaches to visit and restaurants to book. Also received some homemade lemoncello and marmalade which was a lovely touch. Would definitely recommend and be back to visit! Tip, room 3&4 have lovely balconies overlooking the sea
