Eco Villas Merak

The location is perfect, 2 min from Virpazar. Amazing views and featurings. Homemade food really nice.

The matress was a bit blended, so you got deeper on the middle than on the up and down side.

Incredibly peaceful location, just a 2 min drive, or a short walk, from Virpazar in a family run winery. Excellent hosts and fabulous accommodation with a small pool and courtyard. The villa had a great sized living/dining area and bedroom. We got to sample the wines and spirits on our first evening. Great location for booking a boat tour of the Lake Skadar to see the Pelicans and lily pads.

The location is 15 minutes walk from town which is ideal to park easily and be very quiet and relaxed, but then have all the facilities within easy reach. We had dinner bought to our room 1 night which was excellent. Everyone working there (being a family business) were really friendly.

- It was clean and had a nice pool area. - Very fresh and comfortable bed. - Asked for pepper and we got it only 5 minutes later. - Free parking

First of all we were excited about the wine tasting that we’ve seen good reviews about, which is totally surprising. The wine was the most disgusting liquid we ever tasted, especially the rosé, that tasted like pickle juice with alcohol. The apartment was private but there was a lot of cats and dogs coming to visit. The dogs looked homeless, we wanted to have a drink outside but the dog sat at our table, we kindly asked the host to bring the dog away since we assumed that it was the hosts dog, but their reply was to drive away with the dog to the village(?) After some time and another kind request to remove the dog, it disappeared, but I did not understand the first response. High-priced breakfast, should be included in the regular price which is already high. The kitchen is missing a trash bin. The TV starts, but has 0 channels. Netflix or other apps such as Youtube aren’t working since the TV is outdated. Not the best WiFi for staying away from any city.
