Prevalis Nature Cottage

We loved everything about our stay. The host, Marko, was wonderful, the facilities were all in great order and the grounds and view were beautiful.

If you're looking for a peaceful stay near Lake Skadar, you won't find better than Prevalis Nature Cottage. We stayed for three nights with our two-year-old son and absolutely loved every minute. The cottage is perfectly located in a quiet, peaceful setting surrounded by nature. Our son was in his element playing on the lawn, kicking his ball around, relaxing in the hammock beneath the grapevines, and meeting the friendly dogs, cat and tortoises that wander the property. He also loved picking fresh apples, blackberries and tomatoes straight from the garden. Marko is truly one of the best hosts we've ever had. From the moment we arrived, he made us feel incredibly welcome. He took the time to sit down with us and share his local knowledge, recommending the best swimming spots, hikes and places to explore around Lake Skadar. His communication before and during our stay was excellent, and nothing was ever too much trouble. The highlight of our stay was undoubtedly the private sunrise boat tour Marko took us on. Watching the sun rise over the lake while the birdlife came to life all around us was an unforgettable experience and one of the most magical mornings of our six-month trip. What made our stay even more special was the genuine kindness Marko showed our son. He was so patient and affectionate, giving him plenty of attention, cuddles and even a chocolate as a farewell gift when we left. This was one of those rare places that feels like home the moment you arrive. A perfect mix of beautiful accommodation, incredible hospitality and unforgettable experiences. We would return in a heartbeat and cannot recommend Prevalis Nature Cottage and Marko highly enough. 10/10.

The view from the balcony was absolutely incredible- the room was spacious, clean & had everything we needed. The highlight was having such a knowledgeable & kind host -Marko. He took us on an evening sunset cruise- an experience we will never forget. We also tried his homemade wine, & tasted some of the local raki. Overall I couldn’t have asked for a better stay.
