Neudorf Country Retreat is a leisurely 2 hours drive from Sydney. Close to Wollombi and Mount View; the gateway to all the beautiful wineries the Hunter Valley has to offer. We are off-the-beaten-track and still close to everything your heart desires.

The cottage is self contained, with two luxurious double bedrooms, spacious lounge area, modern kitchen and bathroom, combustion stove, air-conditioning, TV, video, DVD, stereo and fly screens on all windows. All the linen and towels are provided.
One room has additional single bed, towel and bedding supplied, but need to bring sheet set(pillow case, fitted and flat sheet)
Other room has single bunk beds (inquire for pricing)

Weekend bookings check in 2 pm, check out Sunday 4 pm
Price quoted is for 4 adults - inquire for a discount if you are only 2 adults!

Enjoy the wildlife, or just read a book on our sunny veranda. Find your star under millions in a cool clear night sky and take the time to watch your dog chase its tail.

Neudorf is a place the whole family can enjoy. Lots of space to run around and feel nature at it's best.

For your pets we offer a kennel on site which allows you to go out for a short while and leave them safe.

Amazing hangout house and off the charts secluded location - yet close enough to drive to the outside world. You will pinch yourself when you arrive! We loved everything about this house (which is bigger than it looks in the photos) but especially the cosy fireplace with generously provided wood on the property, the swing, the birds wallabies, heated blankets, the blackout blinds (kids slept in until 7:45 am which was bliss!) and all the board games, books and old school CD player. It’s such a lovely spot house, really good for the soul. Thank you for having us!

We came to Neudorf looking for somewhere on our regular runs down to the Valley where the two dogs could simply be dogs, and it delivered exactly that. Having the whole place to ourselves, with no other guests on the property the entire stay, meant Dougie and Eddie could roam the grounds freely while we got on with the business of doing very little.The setting is the real drawcard. Bushland on every side, a dam with a couple of chairs down by the water, and birdlife from first light. We spent most evenings in front of the wood fire with something slow cooking, which is precisely how autumn in the Hunter ought to be spent.Regina and Neil have clearly put years of thought into the place. The welcome notes were thorough, check-in through the key safe was effortless, and there’s a genuine warmth to how they look after both guests and their animals. It’s an honest country property rather than a styled showpiece, which suited us perfectly. We’ll be back, and I suspect more than once.
