Charming Apartment Travessa do Alcaide

We had a lovely stay in this charming apartment right in the heart of Lisbon’s historic center. The location is absolutely fantastic — perfect for exploring the city on foot and enjoying the atmosphere of the old town. The apartment is set in a beautifully restored historic building and has so much character. It’s cozy, tastefully decorated and very welcoming, while still providing all the essentials needed for a comfortable stay. Communication with the host was excellent throughout — always easy, friendly and responsive. As you would expect from a carefully renovated property in one of Lisbon’s historic buildings, it retains some of the particularities and charm that come with an older construction, which is simply part of the experience of staying in such an authentic part of the city. Overall, a beautiful and very well-located place to experience Lisbon. We really enjoyed our stay and would happily recommend it!

The apartment was absolutely beautiful - charming and full of character, perfectly reflecting the historic charm of the area while offering tasteful modern touches for added comfort. The location couldn’t have been better, with everything we needed within easy reach. Our hosts were incredibly warm and welcoming, always available if we had any questions. They generously shared local tips and recommendations that really enhanced our stay. Highly recommend!

Not a problem for us, but taller visitors may struggle with the low ceilings.
