NEW! Cozy apartment in the center

Great location in a quiet but central neighbourhood close to lots of cafes serving nice breakfasts, and great transport links. Shower was excellent, and the flat was thoughtfully kitted out with plenty of towels, toilet paper, soap, cleaning things etc. (I've stayed in many places where hosts are stingy with these things so it was nice to have plenty!) Appliances looked quite new and all worked. Electric radiator and extra blankets were really appreciated given the cold winter nights. Bed was comfy. Neighbours very helpful letting me in when I got in a muddle about the entry system. Good WiFi.

The waste water pipe under the sink wasn't secured and could easily be dislodged. No bucket for the mop or a vacuum cleaner or dustpan and brush. Rugs looked like they could really use a good vacuuming. Decor a bit tired and drab with peeling wallpaper. Could benefit from a fresh coat of paint. Damaged and wet lino on staircase could be a trip/slip hazard. A washing machine would be a bonus but I'm guessing there isn't room for one.

It was clean and well equipped. The beds were well made. It had enough room for the three of us. The shower was perfect. All the necessary utensils were present. The bottle of wine was a very gesture!

Our only issue was the amount of climbing, both inside and outside. We are three older brothers. This might not be an issue for younger people.

We had a wonderful stay at this flat and couldn’t have asked for a better location. It’s right in the heart of the old town, just steps away from the iconic Tram 28 and within easy reach of both the blue and green train lines, which made exploring Lisbon so convenient. The neighborhood is lively yet charming, with plenty of restaurants, souvenir shops, and supermarkets nearby—everything we needed was just a short walk away. The flat itself was the perfect size for us—cozy, comfortable, and well-equipped for a relaxing stay. What made our experience even more special was the owner’s hospitality. They were incredibly accommodating and proactive, sending us helpful information and recommendations even before we arrived. It really felt like they went out of their way to make sure we had a smooth and enjoyable visit.

While we enjoyed our stay overall, there are a few areas that could be improved. The flat doesn’t look exactly like the photos online—the images seem to have a strong white filter, making the space appear newer and brighter than it really is. In person, the flat feels a bit older and could benefit from some renovations, particularly the kitchen floor (a fresh coat of paint or new tiles), the wooden panels in the bathroom, and repairing the hole in the floor of Bedroom 1. Also, it’s worth noting that the building has no elevator, and the staircase is quite narrow. This can make it challenging if you’re carrying large or heavy luggage. Of course, this isn’t the owner’s fault, but it’s good for future guests to be aware.
