Casa Barzizza

Location was great, so close to the vaporetto stop. Apartment was clean, comfortable, quiet. It's only the first floor up so, one small set of stairs to get into the building and another to get to the apartment. Tastefully decorated too! Large enough space for the four of us (me and husband, son and grandfather). AC and laundry easy to use. Daniele met us in the square and walked us to the apartment, he was very easy to speak to. He gave us some good recommendations for coffee and dinner which we appreciated.

Not a problem with the apartment itself, more with navigating. Google maps was not able to find the location. This is important because we went to dinner and when we came back, we had a hard time finding the place! I almost had to call Daniele! So take a couple of minutes to look around and orient yourself before leaving the apartment the first time. Maybe take a few photos of the courtyard and the little brick archway. We ended up finding the place by looking at other building numbers and working our way from there.

The accommodation was excellent and very clean and comfortable.

Everything was good.

The location was great. Rialto area with a Vaporetto stop right out side. Walking distance to everything. Very spacious for our 2 teens girls (they had their own bathroom) and for my husband and I. Nice to have a kitchen with a fridge (if you wanted to have snacks/food for kids).

Mosquitoes- not that the property can help that, but we had to keep the windows closed at all times or they were in there. There were mosquitoes all over Venice, not just this specific property- just to clarify.

Spacious, comfortable and very well located. A wonderful base to explore Venice from and a welcome place to escape the hustle & heat of the city. Very spacious with generous bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, lounge area and dining area too. Perfect for a family. Located near shops, restaurants, vaporetto and sights too. A great place to stay. Would recommend.
