4 Star Forest & Lake PEI B&B: Twin Room, Prince Edward Island

Host are very nice, breakfast were great and even gluten free for me, very confortable and clean.

Forest and Lake B&B exceeded our expectations. We made a very last minute booking for a short stay in PEI, but the reception we received from Tanja and Karl was very welcoming. From the very first interaction, we felt as if we were old friends. The room, the breakfasts, the hot tub, the lake, the breakfasts, the knowledge sharing of Island lore and places to visit, (oh and have I mentioned the breakfasts?) - will stay in our hearts and minds for a long time. Thank you both, for making our first stay on PEI so memorable

Tanya and Karl's place was a gem, loved the setting and the people. If you want a quiet place to stay this is the place for you. Very inviting and cozy. I would call the property to book though.

We rolled into Forest & Stream on July 1st for a 2-day stay and were greeted by the very gracious and friendly Glenn, who took the time to detail specific points according to our interests on a handy map of the east point before handing us the key to Shady Nook. What a cottage! Clean, cozy setup, beautiful surroundings, and stocked with all the appliances, dishes, and utensils that we needed for homecooked meals. Not to mention the charcoal grill and bbq located right outside our cabin. We did some travelling around to different beaches and historic sites during our stay, but we also partook in the sweet onsite offerings of bike rentals for the nearby Confederation Trail, and took the canoe and the paddle-boat scot-free for a jaunt down the forest-hugged tributary at the foot of the property.No matter what we filled our days with, our cozy, comfortable, homey Shady Nook was always a welcoming retreat at the end of them. Glenn and Joan were so very hospitable, helpful, accommodating, and friendly and we thank them for making our trip to the island so perfectly unforgettable.We will be back!Stayed: July 2015, travelled with family
