Lido II by An Island Apart

Very clean, spacious, light, quiet and well-furnished, we particularly liked the balcony! A Pingo Doce supermarket just downstairs, and restaurants very close by. A little bit further from Funchal but only a short Bolt ride away.

Providing an extra towel per person would have been handy.

The apartment was clean, bright, and had large windows as well as a beautiful terrace. The windows offered a lovely view of the Atlantic Ocean. It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The parking area was rather small and often busy, but it was free of charge and we always managed to find a space. The building is located in a quiet, modern area of Funchal. There is a large supermarket right next to the entrance, and within a few minutes’ walk you can find many restaurants, a park, and the beautiful Lido promenade.

The walking distance to Funchal is 40+ minutes, but you walk next to the ocean / or you can take a cheap taxi.

location ideal,close to shops easy walk to town or lido. Bus service excellent , stops close to apartment.

No cleaning materials available in apartment which would have been helpful for cleaning shower room and kitchen area. Cleaners called to change bedding and towels but did not spend time cleaning shower room or kitchen. Cleaning materials would have been beneficial for a lengthy stay.

Sie war sehr gut ausgestattet und die Aussicht war super.

Man konnte die schöne Aussicht kaum bis garnicht genießen, da der komplette Balkon, voll mit Tauben Kot war. Das Haus war unfassbar laut. Der Nachbar, direkt über der Wohnung, randalierte förmlich von früh morgens, bis spät nachts, so dass an Schlaf, kaum zu denken war, des Weiteren, hatte man das Gefühl, das er die Tauben auch füttert.
