We used the house as a base to go to Olympic events in Versailles and Paris. It was wonderful to come back to the quiet house and we made full use of the pool on our days off! Well equipped and comfortable, we would recommend to anyone needing to get away from the city

Had a lovely stay in Cesar's Cottage in Balines. Property was clean and tidy.. Kids loved the pool all the space outdoors. Only a short drive to local shops. Cottage is located in a beautiful spot in the countryside. we fitted in day trips to Paris and Le Mans.

The house is beautiful , set in beautiful grounds and the large swimming pool is a real added bonus. The outside area has a lovely seating area chairs and sun loungers included. There is a brick built BBQ and seating area to. The house was immaculately presented and had a very homely feel. Towels and bedding were all fresh and clean and there was an ample supply of these. The kitchen was well equipped again with a vast supply of crockery pots pans cups glasses etc. The photos really don’t do this wonderful house justice. There is a carrefour , Lidl and Aldi all a short 5-10 min drive away. Would highly recommend this charming French cottage for a perfectly relaxed holiday ! Huge thanks to the lovely Martine who greeted us and showed us around.

Had a fabulous week. Although only 5 minutes from the nearest town, it feels much more secluded. Cesar the owner has thought of pretty much everything you might want. Spacious rooms, really well equipped kitchen, enormous bathroom. Kids loved the pool table and the pool even more. Outdoor, heated, good size lots of equipment and a separate pool house complete with a real wood bbq. The TV even had Netflix. The property sits entirely enclosed by your own mini woods. The only minor gripe is the WiFi, which was patchy at times, and not very fast. But this shouldn't stop you from staying here. We will definitely return.

We had a great stay in this house... amazing garden, pool, barbecue and interior of the house. All is ready to relax and disconnect. The owner is very attentive and helpful. I strongly recommend it 👌👌

We had a fantastic stay at César’s house. The place is secluded in a small wood that gives you the feeling to be in the middle of nature. The house is perfectly arranged and very practical, lots of games, space and a very nice kitchen. Now the pool is wonderful and the outdoor BBQ offers both some shade and a beautiful view on the pool, the house and the woods. I highly recommend this place for a week or weekend with friends and family. For those like us who like cycling, the surroundings are really nice and pretty. Finally, Verneuil-sur-Avre is only minutes away so while you are secluded you’re really close to shops and everything you need to buy food and anything you could need.
