We hebben zo genoten van de rust en het prachtige uitzicht op de baai van Napels!
Het appartement met groot terras is prima gelegen voor uitstappen naar Napels, Herculaneum, Pompeï, Sorrento.Ook Caserta en Amalfi zijn op een uur met de auto te bereiken. We namen de boot in Castellamare naar Capri.
Prima en warm ontvangst en het appartement is prima in orde.
Het nabijgelegen restaurant , op wandelafstand, Don Mimi, is zeker ook een echte aanrader.
Een klein detail : wij miste een broodrooster omdat er dichtbij geen winkels zijn.

My husband and I had an amazing stay here for a week in September 2025!
We didn’t hire a car, as we’ve never driven on the continent and were a little nervous about driving on the opposite side of the road, but we found it very easy to explore the surrounding areas from the Villa without one. It was about a 15-minute walk to the station (with a steep walk back, though we enjoy walking so this was fine) and from there we took wonderful day trips to Sorrento, Positano, Capri, Pompeii and Herculaneum. A ferry from Capri and Sorrento even came directly back to the port at Castellamare, which was such a bonus and saved us some train rides.
It was also only about a 15-minute walk to Castellamare lungomare, where we consistently enjoyed affordable and delicious dinners, drinks, and even swims in the sea. Staying here was an amazing alternative to staying in Sorrento itself—much more affordable while still allowing us to see all the sights and eat delicious food with wonderful panoramic views.
The apartment was clean, modern, well-equipped, and had a lovely pool. The view was absolutely unbelievable. Special mention to the gentleman who checked us in and out (sadly we didn’t catch his name)—he was possibly the nicest man we have ever met.
We couldn’t recommend Poggio Miramare more highly.

The location is in a middle of a large and beautiful garden, well maintained. The Apartment is located on the hill with an exceptional view on Castellamare di Stabia. The appartement is large and functional.
We announced our arrival to the owner 1 hour upfront but did wait more than one hour in front of the residency's door. We were welcome by the uncle of the owner. High humidity in the apartment (#3) with the corresponding smelling. The shower head on the ceiling is flawed. We spent 4 days there but were all days long on the road visiting the spots nearby, therefore we did not make the most of the apartment and its utilities.
