Located in in the middle of olive groves, this is a gorgeous bungalow ideal for 4 people. The rooms are spacious and I especially liked the solid wood furniture. One room had aircon, although we didn't really need it as it was the end of the season. The satellite TV worked and the kitchen was fully equipped, and there is also a clothes washing machine and tumble drier. There were also plenty of tables and chairs. The hosts were great: responsive and patient with our questions about the nearest beach, shops, etc. It's worth noting that the property is frequented by several of the local cats, who are friendly enough if you feed them! :) The nearest beach was about a ten-minute walk and is scattered with "Lidos" (beach clubs) where you can hire an umbrella for EUR 10 for the day. You might want to, as the beach consists of stones that range in size from grit to large pebbles. The nearest town, Mattinata, is a ten-minute drive or a 30-minute walk away, and is exactly how you imagine Italian villages should look: attractive, narrow streets with washing hanging from the balconies. It has several good restaurants. Overall, I highly recommend this property because it offers everything you need from a vacation: a peaceful place to rest and recharge, but near enough to a good beach for swimming and set among gorgeous countryside that offers plenty of opportunities to climb and enjoy amazing views of the Adriatic.

Nulla
