Breathtaking location

Perfect to discover the Soca Valley. The area is secluded, quiet and breathtaking (just across very pretty mountains and a waterfall). I stayed here for one night so I did not use a lot of amenities. It looks like it had everything you might need. I like the fact that the hosts have a cute family history and they like to share it with you. They also prepared a little basket with some treats and necessities. Very thoughtful! I parked my car in front of the apartment and there was enough space. Thank you for hosting me in your safe haven.

What an incredible location and property! A short drive (or in our case bike) to "downtown Trenta" which is a store and a restaurant. But the real notable thing is the location to the the river and hiking. It's one of the most beautiful places I've ever been

Great welcome by the owners, they were helpful all week long. Really quiet place in the middle of nature. We particularly enjoyed the pool and the terrace.

We really liked the location, the room and Tanja was a great host. I really appreciate the fact that even though we didn't have a kitchinette in the room, we found everything we needed for a coffee and a small breakfast in the morning. Also it was pretty awsome that in the field next to the house we got to see fireflies in the evening.

Wonderful stay and very acommodating

The flat was beautiful and clean and we had all of the amenities we needed. The bed was comfortable and not too hot, not too cold. No noise at all because youre in the middle of nature, and best of all was that amazing VIEW!!! OMG!

Not House Dormica's related or fault, but I figured I'd warn people, if you want to buy fish to cook at home, drive into town because the restaurant accross the street charges the same price for cooked or raw fish so might as well eat it there and not waste your time and energy cooking.

Renovated and well located mountain house in the heart of the valley

In Trenta, just a short way after descending from the Vršič pass, nestled in the valley. Location was great and not too remote – walking distance from the river and there were restaurants/shops not too far away. Apartment was well stocked and spotlessly clean. Grounds were well maintained, plenty of room for parking. Pet friendly (at a small fee), which was really nice. Would love to come back again. :)

The shower drainage system just didn't work so water from the shower was just flowing to the toilet area no matter how much we lowered the water stream. Probably needs some fixing but not a big issue. Also, as shown in the images, access to the beds in the attic is via a rather steep ladder. Not an issue for us, but something to consider for very young kids or people who are not so mobile/agile.

Spectacular view and great hikes

House dormica has probably the best location in the valley, you can start your hike right from the apartment or you can reach any other routes quite fast by car as well. There are also two restaurants and a shop close by (and that is a lot compared to other villages in the area). The hosts were very nice and helped in everything. The view is spectacular from the garden, chilling there is a great thing to do. We are looking forward to visit again.

In general the apartments are well equipped. However, we missed a microwave to heat up our food faster.
