Summary:

This mid-century modern appointed 2 bed, 1 bath condo is perfectly located in Old Town Scottsdale walking distance to all that Old Town Scottsdale has to offer. The condo and community features a balcony overlooking green space and community pool. Close to shopping, entertainment and everything you want to do. This condo is perfect for a weekend getaway, a week away, or a month long stay.

This listing is for the entire condo. The thing we love most about this place is that it has character! It`s located in a unique cluster of condos that were all built in the 1960s and `70s (this area of Scottsdale is a little older and has class and charm. All the essentials are provided such as sheets, blankets, towels, bath and shower toiletries and laundry supplies for your entire group.



**STAIRS ARE REQUIRED TO ACCESS THE UNIT**



SLEEPING AREAS:

Master bedroom with queen size bed

Guest bedroom with queen size bed

Full size air mattress

Guest bathroom in hallway



COMMON AREAS:

Kitchen with all your cooking needs, separate dining area, living room, hair dryer, iron & ironing board, and vacuum cleaner are also available. There is a community laundry room on the property that is coin operated and virtual pay through an app. Available on Google play and Apple Store.



(Children supplies such as high chair and pack n play are available for rent, please ask if needed. $5 per day per item, plus a $35 delivery charge. All fees subject to Arizona sales tax.)



PARKING:

There is one covered assigned parking space for the condo. Additional guest parking can be outside of the community on the public street subject to availability

Guests will be provided with a start up supply of household items such as laundry soap, dish soap, paper towels, toilet paper etc so that upon check in you do not need to run to the store. If you are staying longer than a few days, you will need to purchase these items. Thank you!



When booking, please let us know how many guests will be in your party as well as how many vehicles you will have on-site, as well as the nature of your visit. With that info we can make sure the home is ready for your group and that you have all the necessary supplies, linens, etc. I am happy to answer any questions you may have.



LOUD PARTIES AND LARGE GATHERINGS ARE NOT PERMITTED.



Please only book this home if you will respect the neighborhood and its residents. Please limit noise when you are outside and observe quiet hours from 9 PM to 9 AM.

If your trip is more adventure focused, the home is located near the Red Rock Mountain. Saguaro Lake is not far away as well. This home is also located an easy drive to Major League Baseball spring training stadiums, the Barrett Jackson auto show, the Arabian Horse Show, the Fiesta Bowl and all the other great area events



If you are going to be travelling around the Southwest after your time in Phoenix, you can feel free to leave bigger bags here and use this as your base. San Diego, LA, Las Vegas, and the beaches of Mexico are all about 5 hours away. The Grand Canyon, Sedona, White Mountains, and AZ`s wine country are 2-4 hours. Take your carry-on and leave the big stuff while you explore. We have been to almost every corner of the state, so if you want to know the hidden treasures, we would be happy to tell you our favorite places to visit.



Please note, because Phoenix is so spread out, we advise having a vehicle if you stay with us. Public transportation is not far away from our home, but it takes a while to get to most parts of the city from our home. With a car, we are convenient to most parts of the Valley, including downtown Phoenix (sports, restaurants, and arts), Tempe (shopping, restaurants, nightlife), Glendale (sports and shopping) and Scottsdale (shopping, arts, sports, nightlife).



OTHER THINGS TO NOTE:

*Noise ordinance set in place 10pm-8am. Subject to additional fees if not followed.

*Thermostats may have temperature limit locks (i.e. 72 deg.) to prevent being set at temperatures that may cause catastrophic damage in high heats or to help control out of the ordinary utility costs throughout the year.

*We do not have control or authority over the community vendors (pool, landscape, pest control, etc.) they have access the grounds and service may occur during your stay.

As part of the check-in process, you are required to complete a guest registration form. This form will ask for personal details such as your name, contact information, and any special requests. The form must be submitted prior to receiving check-in instructions. By submitting the form, you acknowledge and consent to the collection and use of your information in accordance with our rental policies and applicable laws.



The house is a non-smoking, non-vaping property. Evidence of smoking inside the home will result in a $250 fine. Guests are responsible for picking up any exterior waste they create including evidence of smoking. Additional cleaning fees may be charged. Evidence of Marijuana left in the home will also result in a $250 fine.



This property may require an Arizona lease to be signed for any stays of 30 days or more. Typically, the terms are no different from what you agree to on this site and this is more a requirement by the state of Arizona and/or this community. This home also has a utility cap that applies for stays of 30 days or more. The homeowner pays all home utilities up to a utility cap of $200, the tenant pays any utilities over cap. This cap typically only applies in the summer months depending on tenant utility usage.

The Neighborhood:

The condo is within walking distance to Old Town Scottsdale restaurants, galleries, and nightlife. It is also just far enough away for some peace and quiet. Walk or bike to nearby desert hiking trails and canals.



Getting Around:

We HIGHLY advise having a car if you stay with us, and we have off-street parking available for you. Phoenix is a SUPER spread out city (50+ miles in all directions), so while we do have public transportation near us, it can take a while to get to your destination by bus.

Feel free to ask about distances, and I`ll let you know average drive times.

We expect all our guests to not only treat our location with care and respect but to also leave the place in respectable condition for our cleaning team. We by no means expect you to fully clean the property before you depart and instead request that guests clean up their spills and messes as they occur and remove any extra garbage that may build up during the stay. Excessive amounts of garbage and extra messiness may require an additional cleaning charge for our cleaning

This is a nice apartment/complex very close to Old Town. You can't beat the location and the place was very clean. It had everything my friend and I needed for a long weekend. The pool isn't heated, but that was disclosed. The pool isn't fancy, but is perfectly fine and enjoyable. The neighbors in the complex were welcoming.Detractions from a 5: The thermostat was auto-controlled to return to over 80 degrees. It got hot, especially at night. My bestie thought the mattress in her room was uncomfortably hard.

Clean, convenient, quiet. Easy walk to old town restaurants, shops, and farmers market. Perfect home base for us as we did a few spring training games.

The apartments surround a square where the pool BBQ and your come go action takes place. The apartment itself is nice, decorated with blue which is everywhere. But, since you are not there you can see it and not. The basic items are available, there are a group of large laundry machines so you can go home with clean clothes I found that a plus. The bed is fine and no complaints other than bring your own soaps and shampoos. 1/2 used giant bottles used by many did not work for me, they may for you. The manager is very helpful and guided us through the temp and other items. Overall for price, location and a definite try to be very helpful to those who stay there I believe they did a good job. I would recommend this for those who like to swim either early afternoon or evening Close to shopping ladies. And, near a place to taste various beer guys. Enjoy.
