The location is excellent and very convenient. It's within walking distance of plenty of eateries, local shops, and Tekek Jetty. You can easily rent a motorbike nearby to explore the island, including Kampung Tekek, Taman Laut, and Kampung Air Batang. It's a great base for sightseeing and getting around while enjoying the local atmosphere.
The room is not very soundproof, so you may hear conversations and laughter from nearby rooms or the corridor, especially if other guests are being loud. It wasn't a major issue for us, but it's something to keep in mind if you're a light sleeper.
