Don't feel like making breakfast? Delicious blueberry pancakes await right across the courtyard at Cafe This Way where regulars return for scrumptious breakfasts and legendary dinners. Then stroll along the garden, turn right and check out the shops, something for every taste and every budget. Go for a scenic cruise around the island, see a whale, hop aboard a four masted schooner, eat some lobsters, swim in pristine lakes or brave the ocean, hike the trails, bike the carriage roads. Welcome!

Ann is an amazing host, and her properties are lovely. From the welcome baskets to her kind and caring demeanor, she has helped make multiple of our stays nothing short of amazing. Though we did not need anything more, she is very attentive and quick to respond. We’ll definitely be looking to book with her from now on during future visits.

The hideaway was in and incredible location and made getting to all our hiking destinations incredibly easy. Bonus for the central location downtown making all the shops and harbor really easy to walk to. It was really well stocked with all the supplies for cooking (pans, pots, seasonings etc)- which meant cooking at home was great and we saved up for lobster roll dinners . Laundry was really convienent so we could wash our clothes during our stay. Also the shower head and pressure was so perfect for relaxing away lots of miles of hiking. Ann had a welcome basket waiting for us and was so wonderful to chat with when we saw her. We will definitely be making this the place we stay for future bar harbor trips (even will plan our trip around its availability!)

Great downtown location. Clean and comfortable. Be patient with the parking and it works out wonderfully. Ann is very good to work with. This is now our third time staying at one of her places. Will book again with her. We highly recommend staying here.
