Took 2 bed studio while im alone, i needed some privacy, 1 min walk to central hatyai, the shopping mall, and nearby walkong distance greenway night market and asian bazaar, only cons is not near to lee garden(i walked there around 35 minutes which makes me sweat a lot due to hot sun), recommend to order grab(around rm10)

the staff is very friendly and explain clearly even we cant speak in their language but they politely bring us to
there . and the hostel is very spacious although highly privacy even share toilet but everything is clean . i love the staff and will definitely will repeat again . very affordable for solo traveler

Maybe this review is abit weird but I was not expecting at all to be left totally alone on my 1 night stay here. Everything was good about this hostel as I expected it to be in terms of cleanliness, location and facilities.. but after arriving at 6pm to a seemingly dark hostel, a lady staff checked me in (she looked tired, didnt say much but was still nice enough to lend me a travel adapter to charge my phone) and I went up to my room to rest. I saw that I had the whole room to myself. Less than an hour later, I came out to go for dinner and thats when I realised it was even more eerily quiet. Almost all the lights were off now except for my room level. I walked around a bit and very quickly affirmed that I was all alone in this hostel… not a single staff or life in sight. The light at the lobby was on but the common areas were switched off and front gate was shut.
I can understand if there are no guests of course but I wish the lady told me at least that there was not even going to be any staff on duty and that shes going to be leaving me, a typical asian girl, all alone in this 3-storey hostel! It took all my will power to not succumb to my wild imagination and I even slept the whole night with the light on and music playing on my phone to kill the absolute silence. Maybe it sounds abit drama but it was really not an easy feeling at all. I saw that there were some pretty cool common areas to hang out in which was a pity I couldnt really enjoy.. luckily I managed to stay out at the markets till late and had to leave early in the morning…
