The most relaxing holiday we’ve had in years .
Location and scenery was fabulous.
It would be nice if the garden foliage in front of the property could be trimmed to allow a better view. This was only a minor thing.

A total disappointment- cleanliness absolutely disgusting!
We booked this last minute as our scheduled ferry to Arran was cancelled - when we arrived there was no one there or any instructions re access - I then contacted the owner who wasn’t aware of the booking ! Despite having paid for it in full hours earlier - this was marketed as available now - as a consequence the house wasn’t ready and we needed to leave again despite it being 6 pm to allow the cleaner in. When we returned we were left disappointed by the general state of the property - the pictures promised far more than is offered. The property is in dire need of some TLC, every room is in need of some significant repairs as well as some deep cleaning. The heating was substandard as was the hot water - there wasn’t any on the first night leading to very cool showers for us all in the morning - it later transpired the oil boiler hadn’t been switched on! This weekend was for my mums 85th birthday - we spent most of our time away from the property given how poor it was . I have tried to reach out to the owner to discuss this - and have been met with a wall of silence. This property is significantly over priced - steer well clear

Location. Great potential
Shabby inside and outside, needs care and attention. Rotten windowsill with gap under window glass. One shower with inadequate pressure. Very close to owners office, which wasn't made clear in the description. Views obstructed by foliage.
