About this house rental
Hi, we're Mike and Julia, and we're ready to welcome you to The Palms Villa 29. Your stay includes a relaxing couples massage on the beach as our welcome gift! The privately owned and operated villa is meticulously cleaned and sanitized ahead of your arrival, and includes daily cleaning service during your stay. Instead of using a property management company, we rent the villa directly and independently, and do everything from maintenance, deep cleans and even buy the soaps and consumables ourselves. We take immense pride in our home and are proud to offer you incredibly fast replies, helpful advice, and a 5-star experience that never cuts corners. The home is two stories with two bedrooms and three full baths, and finished with fine modern furnishings providing luxury and comfort in every room. The villa contains floor to ceiling double panel bi-fold doors which maximize your view of the amazing sunsets from both floors. There is also a quiet second storey balcony at the front of the home. It has two full dining areas, one indoor and one outdoor. Go out the back doors and you are less than fifty steps to the white sandy beach!

Master Suite: 1x King Bed
Guest Suite: Either 2x Twin or 1x King, plus a loft with 1x double.
We also have a new (comfortable!) Queen sofa bed in the living room with black-out blinds, and a full bath on the main floor.
Due to local bylaws, the unit can sleep up to a maximum of 6 people.
Kids: The Villa offers a pack and play crib with mattress, baby blanket, baby pillows, changing pad and a baby monitor (which reaches the poolside!) We also offer several toys and board games.
The Palms has 24/7 guards, gated privacy and two pools with attractive tropical landscaping throughout the complex. The main 100ft infinity pool is great for little ones, too! There is a fully equipped gym with a beautiful ocean view. The resort offers non-motorized water sports equipment (boogie boards, masks, flippers), and the staff are glad to facilitate anything from catamaran tours to wave runners, babysitting, and more. Hot lunches and dinners is delivered by nearby Coco Loco, with breakfast offered on weekends; and there is an on-site bar serving tropical cocktails in the afternoon and at sunset. Our concierge team can even organize private sunset dinners on the beach!
If you love to cook, you'll enjoy the fully stocked kitchen, Viking appliances, and a common barbecue area that boasts brand new Weber grills with motorized rotisseries!
The villa includes fast 100 mbps wifi, Smart TVs with built-in access to Netflix. The fees payable via VRBO cover daily housekeeping, paper products (toilet paper, paper towel and facial tissue) and bath soap/shampoo/conditioner - a true hotel-like experience! Club fees also cover on-site Concierge services, daily beach towels, non-motorized water sports, fabulous ocean-view gym, and property-wide wifi.

HOT TIPS: Bakery truck comes to The Palms every Tuesday and Friday. Try the banana cake—it's amazing! As for dinner, CocoLoco is 1 min away on the beach and is a MUST. We recommend the sizzling lava rock steak. Mmmmm.

Do not sleep on renting this place, it is amazing. Literally steps from the ocean which was so convenient if you forgot something in the villa. The pool gentlemen always remembered our names and where we liked to sit. Always greeting you with a smile and good morning. The sunsets were fabulous. The beach massages were also lovely. We ate at cocoloco the first night and were glad to have something close. We never visited for breakfast but did go to other places suggested by the host. Having the concierge was also nice and stress free. We went ziplining and rented jet ski's through them. The villa has everything you need and is fully stocked. The loft is an added bonus if you have children. We cannot wait to return!

Paradise! Can’t beat the location with beach access. My kids loved boogie boarding in the waves. Pool is awesome as well. Grounds very well maintained.Condo had every amenity you could think of. Very clean and beautiful. Will be back for sure!It’s our favorite vacation place!

We are a family of 4, kids ages 10 and 12, and our stay at The Palms was incredible. The unit itself is beautiful - clean, so comfortable and spacious, and had everything we could have needed. It is without a doubt the best VRBO we have ever stayed at. And The Palms property itself is amazing, the pool and beach are literally steps from the patio. We did jet skiing, a sunset cruise, and surfing lessons, all of which the concierge booked for us. The concierge also helped us rent a golf cart for the week which I was on the fence about initially but was so glad we had it (we did not rent a car). We took it to the grocery store, marina for dinner (we loved Surf Box), in town for ice cream and the kids loved riding around in it. Everyone at The Palms (and all of Playa Flamingo), from the concierge to the security guys (Jose and Felix are the best!) are so kind and helpful. And the hosts, Mike and Julia, were incredibly friendly and responsive, and made the whole experience smooth and easy. Can't say enough good things, we will definitely be back! (and if you are wanting to do a tour, we HIGHLY recommend Verny with Costa Rica Family Tours, we had the best time going with him to La Leona waterfall)

We have been to Costa Rica several times and stayed in over 30 different places. Villa 29 is above and beyond the best place to go if you need to relax and unwind. It is even more beautiful than we could have imagined. First of all, the location is so rare in Costa Rica, there are very few places like this with an infinity pool practically on a pristine, white beach. The views from the Villa at sunset are enough to make you forget any of your problems. The grounds are impeccable and the staff are so friendly. The Villa itself has everything you could possibly need. The furniture is the most comfortable I have encountered anywhere I've ever vacationed. The kitchen is so well-stocked, especially for families travelling with young kids (sippy cups, reusable straws, plastic plates and glasses). There is even a garbage disposal for your organic waste! The fridge is enormous, and the ice-maker is fantastic for drinks by the pool. The beds were so comfortable our whole family slept well every night. The lighting deserves its own review, endless combinations for reading, watching TV, dim lights for little ones to find the washroom at night. Mike and Julia's attention to detail was much appreciated. Coffee, milk, spices and kitchen essentials were all at the ready. Complementary sunscreen, bottles of water and all the streaming services available to entertain kids and adults alike were very convenient! There was even a collection of kids toys and books for my 4 year old to play with!We had a wonderful, unforgettable time at The Palms. It is like a little community, we made so many friends.
