About this house rental
The Beach House on Playa Flamingo is a beachfront home centered on the most prestigious, pristine, white sand beach on Costa Rica’s North Pacific Coast. This 5 bedroom, 4.5 bath home, easily accommodates 10 people . It is important to note that this home is a 2 storey home and to access the upstairs from downstairs, guests are required to access the stairs outside. Please Read Our Reviews!
Being on the center of this beach gives our unique location an unparalleled access to Flamingo Beach and view of the islands and year round sunsets. You also have the convenience of walking down the beach to Flamingo Village. Wake up to the gentle sound of surf, sit on the deck and pour yourself a fresh cup of Costa Rican coffee and watch the kids play on the beach or in the pool. Although many rentals in the area claim to be on or in Playa Flamingo, most are not. There is only ONE Flamingo Beach and we are on the center of it!
We offer the services of a full time cook at your convenience for a very reasonable rate that goes directly to her. The cook's own menu at the house includes everything from a variety of local Costa Rican dishes and North American favorites to different ways of grilling the fish you caught that day on our BBQ. She’s also happy to teach you how to make fresh homemade tortillas! All you pay for are the groceries and her weekly rate. The chef cooks in the outdoor kitchen.
And… if that’s not enough, the “Toes in the sand” dining of Coco Loco is right there with menu and ambiance second only to us.
Enjoy being beachfront on Flamingo Beach with a private swimming pool and tropical outdoor pool and barbecue grill. Take advantage of our Wireless internet as you enjoy your favorite snacks, meals, drinks and major sporting events poolside. Or leave the world behind. With the beach only a few steps away, you can enjoy your cold drink on the warm sand. You're close enough to go back for a refill!
We have retained Costa Rica's 'Pura Vida' (pure life) ambiance upstairs with a variety of native hardwoods. Downstairs is a spacious living area with entertainment center, a suite and two ocean view bedrooms, a large guest bathroom and shower, Teak ceiling, an office area with a desk, computer and broadband wireless internet set up.
The rest of the property includes a back yard area surrounded by a tropical forest great for viewing a variety of Costa Rican wildlife such as Howler Monkeys and many species of tropical birds, flora and fauna.
Flamingo also boasts the area’s largest sport fishing, sailing, diving and water sports fleet with near-by surfing for all your ocean enjoyment. At the Beach House, we can help you arrange everything from transportation, all tours and activities to personal massages at the house.
We only rent to one group at a time. You will always have the entire property to yourself except for the outdoor kitchen which is used by the chef. Flamingo Beach Village is within walking distance where you will find restaurants, groceries, salon, disco, casino, pharmacy and Ocean activities.
We are owner managed, available locally and dedicated to making your Costa Rica vacation relaxing, comfortable and memorable.

Wow!! La Casa Playa Flamingo far exceeded our expectations. My wife and I stayed with our 3 adult children for 9 days. Communication from the owner and the managing company were prompt when needed. The layout of the house was perfect. We took advatage of the pool most days as well as the 10 steps to the beach. The upstairs porch/patio was such an amazing location to enjoy our meals and watch the beautiful sunsets. Alvaro at the beach was very helpful for any information we needed in addition to setting up a canopy and chairs for us whenever we wanted to spend most of the day at the beach. What made this trip one of the best vacations that we have ever had was Ivonne and Yasmina. Yasmina cleaned the house everyday, we had fresh towels, beds made, floors mopped the whole deal. It was like everyday was as clean as the day we arrived. We chose to have Ivonne make breakfast and dinner for us everyday. That was a game changer. Not having to worry about where to eat, grocery shopping, cooking or doing dishes was the best. Not to mention it was much cheaper than eating out everyday. Ivonne created a variety of authentic meals with some input from what we wanted. We will DEFINITELY be returning in the future. I can't recommend this place enough. The location to other activities and beaches is also a big plus.

As a multi- generational family of 9- 5 adults and 2 kids ages 11 and 13 we had the most amazing time! The house is settled right in front of the beach and right next to Coco Loco! There is a small cobblestone road in front and it was very entertaining to watch people drive and walk by. We rented 2 golf carts for the week through Chip and Jennifer at Rent A Golf Cart Costa Rica- they delivered and picked up the carts and they made everything so easy. Jonas was who was referred to us for transportation and excursions and communication with him was flawless and made our stay there so easy- we used him for airport transportation, ATV’s and La Leona Waterfall and tubing- The absolute gems of this house are Ivonne and Jasmina. Ivonne is the AMAZING chef who we used for 3 dinners and 2 breakfasts. Her cooking is top notch and so fresh. It was fun learning to speak Spanish with her- she is like the house mom- we just loved her so much. Ivonne kept the house in tip top shape- she works very hard and we really enjoyed having her around- she is very quiet while she works and she is Never in the way- she did a load of laundry for us halfway through our stay and it was so nice to have some fresh clothes. We had the kids and our 18yr old sleep upstairs while the 3 adult couples slept downstairs- it worked perfect- The pool was such a refreshing break from the beach- there is even a pool guy that came to clean the pool a few mornings while we were there- this place is taken care of

We had a great stay and would absolutely recommend it. The listing was very accurate. Everything was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The views were absolutely incredible and one of the highlights of our trip.The host was also fantastic throughout the entire stay. Communication was quick, helpful, and friendly, which made everything very easy from check in to check out. Overall, we were very pleased with the experience and would happily stay here again.

Great spot across from the beach, beautiful view, Beautiful sunsets, really nice beach for swimming and walking. Great location, walking distance to a few restaurants Yazmina kept the house spotless, and brought fresh towels every day. Manager was extremely responsive. Just a couple of things i wish I knew beforehand. The lower level only connects to upstairs by outdoor staircase. Because of this downstairs could use more kitchen amenities. The road in front is very active. Daily large delivery trucks for Coco loco often park in front and idle their motors for extended periods. They come throughout the day. Breakfast on the patio was frequently a bummer, to the point I asked one to please turn off engine or move away. Not a lot of privacy in pool area with workers hanging out in front, wall height allows passersby and truck drivers to peer right in. All in all a very beautiful property, but the trucks will prevent us from returning.
