Location is great: offers a beautiful view to the bay, calm and quiet but close to the center.
Unfortunately the place didn't meet our expectations based on the description and pictures. Here's why:
- We knew the ceiling was lower but in reality it meant that we couldn't stand normally in the bathroom, bedroom and living room. We either had to constantly pay attention to bend down which was really annoying and tiring and if we forgot we hit our head. The fisheye pictures are totally misleading.
- The description said there would be free toiletries but there wasn't even soap, only an empty soap dispenser.
- The cleanness wasn't satisfactory. The bathroom trash was full when we arrived, there were stains on the mirrors and windows in all rooms, there was a lot of limescale on the bathroom cabinet, the cooker hood was sticky and the kitchen wall tiles were greasy in spots. Some of the plates/cups were dirty as well. During our entire stay, there was a big bag of towels left in the staircase.
- There weren't any cooking spoons which would be a basic requirement in a kitchen, in my opinion.
All in all, there was a lot of smaller or bigger annoying/disappointing things which is not something you want during your vacation.
I have to add that we didn't ask the host to tackle these, because we didn't want to bother ourselves managing these issues during vacation and also, it wouldn't have helped our dissappointment by then.
