The apartment in a magnificent Wilhelminian style building was extensively renovated and furnished as a holiday apartment. It is located on the ground floor of a quiet and absolutely central alleyway and is fully equipped.
In the kitchen area is a fridge-freezer, ceramic hob with extractor, sink, dishwasher, pots and a pan, cutlery, crockery, kettle, Senseo pad machines etc ..
The cozy living room has a large dresser, coffee table, a couch and a LCD TV.
The sleeping area in the gallery is located to the quiet courtyard.
In the bathroom is a spacious shower, sink, toilet. Towels and bed linen available. incl. WIRELESS INTERNET ACCESS.
The accommodation is new and tastefully decorated. Modern new old belly arms with plank floor, stucco elements and ceiling height about 3.8 meters, walls brightly painted with natural clay colors ........

Awesome location. Parking was 76euro for 3 days at the parkhaus. The stairs/ladder are a bit steep to the bed. If if have mobility issue you will be sleeping on the sofa. Very clean.

We enjoyed our stay there. Was convenient to shops/restaurants and public transport. Clean and had everything we needed. Like other apartment locations, you can occasionally hear other residents opening/closing doors and talking, sometimes during the night, but we generally slept well - one of us on sofa and the other up in the loft. Internet was mostly reliable. Would stay there again..

We stayed for a week and really enjoyed our stay. The neighborhood is very pleasant, with many restaurants. It's also well served by bus and U-Bahn.

This unit was perfect for my stay. It was clean, had all the amenities I needed, and was in a great, safe location. It was quiet since it was in the back of the building, but was within walking distance to many restaurants, cafes, bars, grocery stores, and shops. There’s basic cookware and dishware to make a meal if you wanted. It was the perfect place to relax, and to prepare for a long day in town. There's public transportation stops nearby that will get you wherever you need to go. Josef was very kind and a good host. Overall, it was a great experience. I’d love to stay there again someday.

The apartment was exactly as described and the location was walking distance to many restaurants and cafés. The only issue was to find a parking at this part of the city ;-). Our kind host was very accommodating and accepted our 2 small dogs, which we were really thankful for!

This property is good if you need somewhere cheapish to crash. It isn't luxurious though - it's small, dark and there isn't a separate bedroom - it's a mattress on a mezzanine. Nice neighbourhood, lots of local facilities.

Pros: No stairs (main floor) which is great if you have luggage, very quiet, great location, clean, tv with cable, fast internet, and the price per night is fantastic. Improvements: Since there is no oven (just a stove) a microwave would be useful. The towels which are provided are rock hard, could use replacing. Also clearer instructions for checking in, or a lock box to grab the keys would help so not having to wait outside. Overall, for the price it’s a cute studio and you can’t beat the location and price.

My wife and I stayed here for 5 days and loved it. We enjoyed the neighborhood. A lot of great bars and restaurants to enjoy and pretty easy to take the train to any part of Cologne.

The apartment is located just south of the city center, a five minute walk from the nearest U Bahn station. The surrounding area is mixed residential-commercial with many restaurants, cafes, and shops, including a food store. Staying there is a great way to get a feel for the city and how its residents actually live. The unit itself is ground floor in a multi-level apartment building, but the sleeping area is a loft that is accessed by a ladder. This would be an issue for elderly or handicapped travelers, but no real concern for others. The interior is good size, with a kitchen/dinning area, a living area with a couch and TV, and then a separately enclosed WC/shower room. The ceilings are very high, which makes the unit feel spacious. All appliances were modern and the entire apartment was well maintained. Very comfortable for a stay of any length. There are opening windows and its easy to get fresh air, but these face a courtyard for the surrounding buildings so there is virtually no view. This also means the unit does not get much sunlight, but because the ceilings are so high, the overall feel is still open. The immediate neighbors, including those in the courtyard, were quiet and there was no problem getting good sleep. I liked the experience, and would gladly stay again.

Ist etwas abgewohnt. Ausstattung im Bad sehr karg. Die Handtücher waren z.Teil schon ziemlich verschlissen. Ein größeres Duschtuch wäre auch schön gewesen. Die Lage in der Südstadt hat das aber alles wett gemacht

Schöne, kompakte Wohnung in bester Südstadt-Lage. Die Küche ist mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht und im Kühlschrank befindet sich ein kleiner Willkommensgruss in Form von einer Flasche Wasser und Kölsch. Das Bad ist geräumig und mit Fenster. Die Wohnung war sauber und ist sehr ruhig. Wir haben bereits zum zweiten Mal gebucht und werden wieder buchen! Die Fotos auf der Internetseite sind nicht ganz aktuell, die jetzige Ausstattung macht die Wohnung viel gemütlicher als sie auf den Bildern wirkt.

Aufgrund einer Messe mussten wir von einem Hotel auf eine Ferienwohnung umsteigen. Wir fühlten uns hier sehr wohl . In der Küche war alles vorhanden, was man benötigt. Bett über eine hohe Treppe ist etwas schwierig, man kann aber auch auf der Coach schlafen. Um die Ecke gibt es alles, was man braucht, Bäcker,Supermarkt und U-Bahn. Einen Parkplatz zu finden gestaltete sich etwas schwierig, haben einen Schotterparkplatz gefunden, Kosten war ok. Auch um die Ecke gibt es ein wunderbares Bistro - Bagatelle- mit kleinen französischen Tapas. Großartig!!! Wir würden wieder hier buchen.

Dit appartement is klein maar gezellig. Het is in een oud pand met hoge plafonds en oude tegels in de gang. Het ligt op 5 minuten lopen van de metro. De kamer is achter in het gebouw waardoor je s nachts geen verkeer of mensen hoort. Het appartement is ingericht met keuken en douche/toilet. Alles is heel en schoon.

Unkomplizierte und direkte Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter. Sehr hilfsbereit, wir konnten die Schlüssel schon am Vortag bekommen. Schöne Straße in der Südstadt, Einkauf und Restaurants in direkter Nachbarschaft. Anbindung per Bus und Bahn an die Innenstadt sowie an die Messe. Sehr zu empfehlen.

Die Wohnung liegt ruhig, ist sehr gut erreichbar (Chlodwigplatz) und ist mit allem ausgestattet, was notwendig ist. Weil sie im Hinterhaus-Erdgeschoss liegt, ist sie allerdings ziemlich dunkel. Wenn man tagsüber eh unterwegs ist (so wie ich), ist das nicht wirklich schlimm. Der Vermieter war sehr nett und flexibel. Als ich mit 5-stündiger Verspätung nachts vom Bahnhof kam, stellte er sicher, dass ich noch in die Wohnung konnte.
