Remote area. Very quiet & calm bay. Sea whisper right near. The family running the guest house was very friendly. Internet is weak.

Remote location can be a con as well; no public transport at all. It was somewhat dusty when I arrived; had to clean myself. Bathroom: - no shower curtain - window flies with the wind of open - toilet tank got broken Internet can be problem for those in need for it: - no mobile connection (at least Italian Vodafone) - WiFi inet is very weak

Great hospitality and very warm family that runs the place and the restaurant under the accommodation! Great location to relax and unwind away from the busy town of Naxos. Great view from the balcony!

This is an amazing place. The owners run not only a guest house but also a traditional greek tavern. The food there is beyond expectation - tasty, good priced, and local. The room was the cleanest we have during our whole trip. It had a balcony, air-condition, private bathroom. The whole place was peaceful and quiet. The owners are super nice people. Helpful and understanding. Highly recommended! Best

This is not a disadvantage. However, Lionas is a small village without access to public transportation. Take that into consideration if you are an eco freak like me ;) To get there you have to rent a car or take a taxi. Or like us - you can get by bus (from Naxos Town) to nearby village Koronos and from there hike down following the trail no 10. Pretty easy trail, nice views but remember not to take this trail during noon. Getting out of Lionas is a little bit tricky (going up the trail isn't recommended) so we asked owners for the lift to Koronos. There was also some problem with phone reception. No reception, but is this defect on holiday? ;)

The room was located in a quiet peaceful area . There was a great view of the sea from the room.

The room we were given was not the one we had booked. It was situated across the road and we had to climb 140 steps to get up to the room. The steps were not well maintained.
