Matina - Stavros Traditional Houses

- Beautiful traditional house - Located in an authentic village - Spacious - Two balconies - Village car park nearby

No air conditioning. But the accommodation is located in a mountain village, so it usually should not be a problem.

We loved our short but sweet one night stay at Matina’s. A really well appointed apartment. Generous facilities and kind hosts with easy communication. We enjoyed breakfast on the balcony with a beautiful view. We loved staying relatively remotely for the night and two great tavernas in the village it was perfect.

So glad we visited the off-the-beaten path village of Koronos. Authentic, great house, kind hosts. Gave us eggs, fruit, homemade cheese and bread.

We followed google maps and turned on the first street in Koronos rather than staying on the road where the signs were posted for the place. Instructions could have been clearer about taking the second right after you enter the town or to turn right at the sign for Matina - Stavros rooms. We went to the taverna and were walked to the other side of the town to get to the room - which ulimately was fine - but we were confused and had to ask a few locals for help which was not easy as they did not speak English.
