Comfort and unparalleled view

The locaction was straight out of a fairy tale. The owner led us like an NPC through the streets of the town to the house. Once there, we had everything we needed and took our time enjoying the breathtaking streets and views.

Unfortunately, there was a repetetive sewerage smell comming from the bathroom that plagued us for most of our stay. Also, this was on us of course, but beware of bringing heavy luggage as there are many, many long and steep stairs. It took us half an hour to bring the luggage from the drop-off point to the house, despite it being a 5 minute walk.

View, view, view! The place is rather basic for European standards but it would be a shame if that would change, it absolutely fits the location in this small little mountain town. Excellent hiking options and 2 super authentic Tavernas next door to the appartment. Absolutely recommended for 1-2 nights

It’s impossible to find without help, the address provided by booking is in the next town Skado. Ask the owner for instructions before your arrival. Bring food & supplies if you need any cause there’s nothing more than a small bakery in the whole town

If you are looking for a Hilton experience, this isn't it - and that is exactly why you should stay here. This apartment offers something far more valuable: pure authenticity. We visited in December, and while the island was quiet, we got a taste of real Greek village life. The location is perfect, right in the center of Koronos. Even in the off-season, the local tavernas Matina & Stavros and Dalas, as well as the central Kafenion, were open and welcoming. Being just a few meters away from these spots made us feel like part of the community. The apartment features a small kitchen, a living room, a separate bedroom, and a bathroom. Everything was spotless. While the interior is a bit dated and rustic, it fits the traditional charm of the building perfectly. The absolute highlight, however, is the view. Whether by day or night, the scenery is simply breathtaking: easily one of the most stunning views I have ever seen. If you want to escape mass tourism and experience the true soul of a Greek mountain village, this is the place to be.
