If you are looking for a Hilton experience, this isn't it - and that is exactly why you should stay here. This apartment offers something far more valuable: pure authenticity.
We visited in December, and while the island was quiet, we got a taste of real Greek village life. The location is perfect, right in the center of Koronos. Even in the off-season, the local tavernas Matina & Stavros and Dalas, as well as the central Kafenion, were open and welcoming. Being just a few meters away from these spots made us feel like part of the community.
The apartment features a small kitchen, a living room, a separate bedroom, and a bathroom. Everything was spotless. While the interior is a bit dated and rustic, it fits the traditional charm of the building perfectly.
The absolute highlight, however, is the view. Whether by day or night, the scenery is simply breathtaking: easily one of the most stunning views I have ever seen. If you want to escape mass tourism and experience the true soul of a Greek mountain village, this is the place to be.
