It was a house Pleasant!!!clean with a nice design,comfortable for our needs(we are a family of 4 people). The house is located in the center of Fourka,very close to a shop, a coffee, supermarket. Comfortable free parking very close to the house. Very clean sheets and towels. Very kind the owner Mr. Michalis! In front of the house has a small garden where you can sit and drink your coffee and your wine. Has very good internet. A very nice place to have a nice vacation.

So unfortunately we saw this comment below too late, which is placed on gites.fr site. Our comment is just the same!! If it is possilble to contact the owner and forbide him to rent this place, because it's disgusting and dangerous for health. Someone has to call the health inspectorate or at least the cockroache exterminators. I must say it's urgent! 1Very poor Iva 28 July 2022 Worst time ever, We were guests in "Modern Appartment" from 25th June till 1st July. Unfortunately this period was the worst part of our holiday. - there are 8 possible lights outside, not one of them was working - toilet seat is broken, and then sticked together with some glue and is not higienical at all - water flush of a toilet was also broken but we managed to fix that by ourselfs - dishes in the kitchen are extreamly dirty, so we spend money on plastic dishes that we didn't planned since based on booking, kitchen has all what guests need, it has, but is not higienical to use - matrace in the bedroom upstairs got us huge pains in the back, hips and legs since it is extreamly damaged with metal parts visibly comming out of the bed - first stair to go up is curved, so if you are not carefull you can fall and seriously hurt yourself.

Our trip to Fourka was Amazing with my husband and my child. The house to modern apartment was very clean warm with very nice decoration very close to the central square very close to the supermarket cafes and restaurants The sea is very close, we went on foot. Fourka is a quiet place, ideal for vacations. In the summer, of course, it is very crowded because it has an amazing sea. Mr. Michalis is very welcoming and kind. He gave us a lot of information about his house. We will definitely come back to Fourka and visit Fourka and Michalis' house.

The advertisement for this hotel/air BnB was false, it showed the place much bigger and the toilet case was broken b

being close to the sea and the center. The owned did put an effor to fix the toilet case (however in the last day)

Not recomended

Worst time ever, We were guests in "Modern Appartment" from 25th June till 1st July. Unfortunately this period was the worst part of our holiday. - there are 8 possible lights outside, not one of them was working - toilet seat is broken, and then sticked together with some glue and is not higienical at all - water flush of a toilet was also broken but we managed to fix that by ourselfs - dishes in the kitchen are extreamly dirty, so we spend money on plastic dishes that we didn't planned since based on booking, kitchen has all what guests need, it has, but is not higienical to use - matrace in the bedroom upstairs got us huge pains in the back, hips and legs since it is extreamly damaged with metal parts visibly comming out of the bed - first stair to go up is curved, so if you are not carefull you can fall and seriously hurt yourself. You even requested from us to stay at home in the afternoon and wait for the guy to fix the stairs, we stayed at home and wated, but no one came - cockroaches bags are all over the house, and the net door were always closed so they didn't enter during the day from outside but are living in the house and are walking around our stuff during the night - 3 days of 6 we were without internet, 1 day when you requested we have losed our morning time on the beach since we were waiting for the tech man till 12,and when he left we were again without internet, I spend money to send host an Sms but he didn't answer (he didn't want to spend money) it was easier to left us without internet To sum up 3 days of 6 without internet, 2 days waiting for house repairman, comunication related to no network issues without support. Unfortunately I cannot recomend this "modern" appartment to anyone. Even if the price is 0 eur, I wouldn't go there again, and to pay for this as called apartmant is the mistake we will never repeat.

Disappointing

Not really clean, on the pictures looks nice, but the reality is different. Noisy neighbours upstairs. This was my worst stay in the past years. The drains from appartment upstairs go down right by your head near the bed. I usually do not write a bad things about accommodations, but on this, i must to do so.

Overall a nice place to stay.

The location was great. It’s very close to the beach, shops and restaurants. It had a nice porch. It had all the basic necessities.

The A/C in the bedroom wasn’t working properly. The compressor was either on and it got too cold, or it wasn’t running and it got warm and humid. The wiring around the house felt like a big fire hazard. No toiletries were included.

Dirty, not cleaned, not fixed, not modern at all.

The location is good, close to the center and the beaches. The washing machine worked fine (and helped us in the first days in our efforts to clean, as much as we could, the apartment). The kitchen is well equipped, the electric hob had also an oven (which is a rare asset in accommodation facilities).

A week before our arrival I was asked by an owner's friend to cancel the accomodation from site and to pay in cash. Here is what we found there: IN: The apartment was not prepared for our arrival: it was dirty, there was mold in many places: in all the corners, on the pallets from which one of the beds was made, on the ceiling in living room, on the shutters that decorate the house, on the small back bedroom window, in the bathroom, on the refrigerator. All the interior smelled intense of mold. The sunlight does not enter in the apartment. The stove plates were full of rust, the mattresses in the two bedrooms were dirty and they smelled bad. On the sofas in the living room was dog hair. The toilet flap was broken and glued with scotch tape; insect nets on the windows were partially detached and with holes. After 12 hours of travel (and with a 5-year-old child), with our bags still in the car, we had to clean, wash and fix the apartment. Almost all furniture was old or refurbished. Many spaces were filled with owner's things (there was not enough space for ours). On the first level, between the bumpers in the open bedroom, were placed thin plastic plates that came off at the slightest touch. The ceiling in the bedrooms and bathroom has a maximum height of 1.85 meters. OUT: In the back of the house was garbage. In the small front garden the grass was uncut (and remained like this for two weeks), there were no table and chairs (although they appeared in the presentation pictures), the bushes were uncut and remained like this as long as we were there. Cats and dogs always came to the garden, so we could not leave there, even for 5 minutes, food or drink. While we stayed there, we noticed that, on the narrow alley inside the complex, some of the locals entered rapidly by car or motorcycle without concerns about children or even adults safety.

The apartment here in Fourka was very nice clean comfortable and very close to the sea we enjoyed beautiful holidays we traveled and in the second leg of Halkidiki we saw many beaches taverns and pizzerias. we really enjoyed it is a nice house for a relaxing holiday with great pleasure we would come again"

Pleasant and comfortable at a walking distance from the center suqare wihg cafes, sea and stores.

Very comrtorable, clean, neat and fully equipped appartment (never seen a more equipped app in Greece) close to the sea. Very pleasant host, with perfect German skills.

In case you have small kids, the steep wooden stairs to the sleeping rooms are not so child-friendly. For the rest, I could not think of any objection.

I liked that the apartment was in a quiet neighborhood where I could spend moments of relaxation and I also loved the interior of the house.

In he backyard of the house, which is small but beautiful, maybe a little improvement might have been necessary.
