About this apartment rental
Chiado 11 is a very spacious flat, located in an XVIII Century old building with massive stonewalls and arches but with most of the amenities and comfort of a modern apartment. Apartment is a 3 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms unit. It breaths character but feels very much like home. Decoration is stylish and modern; wood is predominant adding nobility and warmth to the flat. Apartment is very well equipped and little details like paintings, books and decoration items make it look really cozy.
Located on a ground floor apartment has the advantage of being at street level with no stairs to climb. The down side is that is not extremely bright and not all the rooms have direct sun light.
The apartment can accommodate up to 6 people.
To the right of the entrance hall you will find two bedrooms, one with two single beds and the other one with a double bed; the third bedroom is the largest, equipped with a king size bed and located in the back of the apartment. All bedrooms have closets.
To the left of the entrance hall you will find a huge living room, with a separate area for meals and social comfortable area appealing to relaxation and conversation. A very well appointed kitchen, with direct communication to the area for meals and two full bathrooms (the largest with a bath tub and the smaller with a shower) complete the apartment.
Due to the bedrooms layout, apartment Chiado 11 is designed for larger families or other guests aiming to stay with all comfort in a modern and charismatic apartment in an historical building in the heart of town.
Pets are not allowed. Smoking not allowed.

Our stay in Chiado was absolutely wonderful and the highlight of our family trip to Lisbon! As a family of five, it can be difficult to find a space that feels comfortable, but this home was perfectly equipped with everything we needed. The layout was spacious and felt like a true home away from home.The location is unbeatable—we were just a short walk from the historical center and amazing restaurants. Our host was incredibly friendly and welcoming, providing us with helpful local tips. We would highly recommend this place to any family looking for a central and stress-free stay in Lisbon!

We stayed here in December ’25 and it was perfect for our family of four (parents, teen daughter, and grandfather). We highly recommend this property for its amenities, host, and excellent location.Mario, our host, was wonderful—great communication, met us at check‑in, and even offered a late checkout after we had a small accident (we didn’t need it but appreciated the gesture). This Chiado location is ideal for sightseeing, with walking access to restaurants, shops, grocery stores, and pharmacies. Three metro stations and the Rossio train station are nearby, making it a great home base for exploring Lisbon or taking day trips. The property was clean, well maintained, and stocked with everything we needed, including space heaters, games, and toys. Being on the ground level made it especially convenient.A few notes for travelers with specific needs. There is a small step at the entrance and in a couple of interior areas, though most rooms are on one level. Other reviewers mention a small bathroom. This may be challenging for larger guests, but we managed fine. This area of Lisbon has steep, cobblestone streets and sections with stairs. We mistakenly took a staircase-heavy shortcut from Rossio Metro, which was difficult for our 75‑year‑old. A slightly longer, stair‑free route is available and we subsequently took that instead.We highly recommend this location and hope to stay again in the future.

Overall, not that bad, just nothing memorable. Location is great. Owner seemed very intent in collection of extra fees not included in the booking which he insisted on in cash. Didn’t have when we first arrived and then my next contact with him the following morning was met with. “ Do you have my money? NOT ” how’s everything going? Any issues, anything I can help with etc… would be really nice if the bathrooms were updated. A bit overpriced, but you’re definitely paying for the Location.
