About this cottage rental

Being in the grounds of our home we are available for any help with your stay whilst giving you total privacy. Countryside, Woodland and Canal walks all from our local Village Pub are very popular. Coarse fishing and Golf Course only a 10 minute drive, so whether your stay is for walking, cycling, shopping or visiting local attractions, Yogis Cottage offers the perfect location. The Flat Screen TV has Freeview and a DVD player. A small selection of books, cards and board games are available for cosy nights in with free Wi-Fi. The kitchen has a full range of equipment for fine dining however The Fox Inn in the Village is only a short stroll offering lunch and evening meals. We are only a 20 minute drive from Bicester, Banbury or Brackley with the surrounding Villages offering an excellent variety of pubs and restaurants. The local shop is in the next village 1 mile.
Our bedroom can be arranged as 2 x single beds or zip together into a super king double, all with fine white linen and cosy duvets. We provide lighter duvets for warm summer nights.
The Lounge area has a sofa bed that can sleep an extra person if required.
The large bathroom has a deep luxurious bath with overhead shower. A selection of different size white fluffy towels are provided as well as overnight toiletries.

This is the 2nd time we have stayed in Jane and Ken's Cottage. The first time we stayed, it was for a month and we were blown away by the hospitality of Jane and Ken. We came back the next year for another month as we were soimpressed with the property and with Jane and Ken. The property has everything you need for a short or long stay. Jane and Ken are two of the most genuine people you could wish to meet and truly care about their guests. We will be back next year for a 3rd visit. My wife and I stayed 4 nights in July and we were absolutely charmed with Yogis cottage. Anything you may need is provided - we wanted for nothing. Quiet country location with owners just a stones throw away if needed. So many local heritage sites to explore in addition to the Cotswolds charm. It was perfect for us and we hope to return. We couldn't have hoped to find a better spot for our trip. All our needs were met, the location is beautiful. Plenty of privacy but hosts close enough to call on if necessary. Yogis Cottage is the perfect retreat for a countryside vacation. Everything about the cottage is outstanding, from the furniture down to the tiniest detail, nothing has been overlooked. Jane and Ken, the owners, are the most honest, generous, kindest, caring people you could ever wish to meet. They treat you like family at the same time respecting your privacy. We stayed in the cottage for almost month, visiting relatives in the area. We would HIGHLY recommend Yogis Cottage and would not hesitate to return in the future. This cottage was a great location for a base. We were able to travel to Windsor, visit the Cotswold area, venture out on the surrounding footpaths. It was an easy walk to the neighboring village for dinner in the Fox Pub. The cottage offered anything you night need for a comfortable stay. Ken and Jane were very informative and helpful.

This is a wonderful, quiet, detached home, and is extremely well equipped, with an excellent wide screen tv, comfortable beds and duvets, and a beautifully appointed bath and shower room. It was absolutely spotless and we were able to have a lovely chat with Jane while we were there - so hospitable and hospitality is clearly her gifting! Finding detached properties for two is difficult - and especially ones of such a high standard.

Lovely little place to stay clean , tidy and warm , ken and jane are a wonderful couple and wonderful hosts , place is perfectly located on the oxon/bucks/northants border to explore not only the countryside but also the small market towns and bigger towns easy access to bicester outlet village which is only a few minutes away and just a bit further away are oxford/banbury/milton keynes and northampton to visit and explore my wife and i enjoyed our short stay and would definitely look at staying again in the future .

We had a very warm welcome including nice touches such as home baked bread and local honey as well as milk and water in the fridge. The host was friendly and helpful - on hand if needed but entirely unobtrusive. The cottage was lovely - extremely clean, well furnished and well equipped. It proved a great place for friends to meet up with many options to get out and about but also a relaxing space to chill. We had only two days but managed a shopping trip to Bicester, a long walk along the canal, a couple of trips to village pub and time relaxing in the little courtyard garden. I would be happy to return.

My friend and I stayed in the Yogis cottage for a weekend catch up. The cottage was immaculate and we had everything we needed, including fresh bread, honey, milk, butter, coffee, tea and basic toiletries. It's located a short walk away from a charming village and a friendly local pub Fox Inn offers beautiful food. There's a whole network of are footpaths enabling walks around farmlands, woods and canals. We loved our stay and would highly recommend to anyone who's considering a short getaway to the country.

The property was lovely, spotless and very comfortable. Ken and Jane have thought of everything you would need including an arrival pack of bread and milk etc of which we were very grateful. The location was excellent for the village where The Fox Inn serves some lovely meals. Excellently located for some long country walks across the fields. Our stay there was perfect and we couldnt have asked for any more. It was perfect.

Plenty of lovely long walks from the door and would highly recommend a visit to the Fox Inn in the village for good food at a good price. We spent four nights at Yogis cottage. Beautifully decorated throughout and though the kitchen was very small it was incredibly well equipped. Well situated for Oxford and Bletchley Park, with pleasant walks on the doorstep, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
