About this house rental
This adorable cottage features an updated coastal farmhouse style. Located in South Chatham, a scenic, half-mile walk from Pleasant Street Beach and Red River Beach, this charming home offers the perfect Cape Cod vacation! The house has an large yard for games and lounging and a spacious deck with grill for al fresco dining. The kitchen was recently renovated with quartz countertops, farmhouse sink, glass tile backsplash and live edge spalted maple open shelving. The living room features a gas fireplace and seating area connected to a sunny dining room adorned with a rustic beam ceiling and large farmhouse table. The dining room has all new windows and french doors that open onto the deck. There are two bedrooms on the first floor, each outfitted with a queen bed, dressers, and large closets. The master contains a large TV.
The upstairs bedroom offers a queen and double bed and desk coupled with a shark-themed nook with a twin bed and armchair. The upstairs living room features a comfy sectional, a big screen TV with 150 channels, foosball table, and a selection of board games. There is a full bathroom on both floors.
The house is walking distance to three fantastic restaurants and close by to tennis courts and the Cape Cod bike trail. Just a 7-minute ride to Harwich Port center and a 10-minute ride to Chatham center, which have the best selection of shops and restaurants the Cape has to offer!

Overall the home is great for family stays, with good outdoor space for grilling on the deck or playing in the yard with little kids. Centrally located with easy access throughout the Cape and good local family friendly beaches that guests can walk to as long as there is no need to carry a lot. Hosts were accommodating and readily accessible throughout the duration of the stay.

We had a wonderful time at this lovely and light-filled home on a quiet cul-de-sac. We were an easy walk (10 minutes) (or a very short drive) from two really nice beaches, and a short drive from the towns of Harwich and Chatham. Kate was very responsive to any questions or concerns we had (e.g. how to turn on the standing A/C in the living room) and the house was exactly as described: clean, nice kitchen, a beautiful big porch. We enjoyed getting to know the two bunnies who scampered in and out of the driveway every morning. Highly recommend.
