secluded beauty! Just minutes from Phoenicia, Hunter, skiing & hiking

House was beautiful! Property and town were just as described! Communication was great to begin with but a little lacking while there. We had an issue with the dishwasher Sat morn and they didn't reply till Sun, too late to not have to hand wash 7 people's meals. So that was frustrating... Who wants to spend vacation doing dishes when apparently the fix was a switch we didn't see under the sink, but everything else was great.

This house met the needs of our 7 person group for a nearby wedding in the Catskills so very well. The house and grounds are spacious and in an easy location to enjoys nearby towns. Kitchen, Bedrooms, and bathrooms all updated and clean. Wonderful recommendations from the host for great food!! Would definitely recommend renting!

Wonderful time was had by all over Mother's Day weekend. Lots of room for 6 adults. The hot tub was great and we cooked several meals together in the spacious kitchen. The reverse osmosis water faucet was a nice touch. Would book again.

The house was amazing, very clean and comfortable. I would 100% go back solely based on the house. However, their strict rules would make me reconsider. First they gave us the option of buying insurance for an additional $79 or putting a deposit of $3,500! So we reluctantly opted for the extra charge since we have kids. But at the checkout process they made us pay another required deposit of $500. Overkill! And as we were cleaning up and wanted to make sure we follow all the rules, we looked at the property book and saw a few items that really made us reconsider booking in the future: - we must run the washer with all the towels (why do we need to do the laundry for you?) - we need to run the dishwasher (understood) and we must empty it out placing all clean dishes in the cabinets (who has the time to wait for dishwasher cycle to end the morning you are checking out?) - we must empty all garbages and use a big black garbage bag in the outside bin, which took us a while to find. Any garbage left in the baskets would result in an extra charge of $5 per bag (seriously?) Not sure why they charge a cleaning fee when they make us do all the cleaning!
