Hospitable hosts Phillip and Ghislaine, easy check in and check out, a well equipped house for a family stay, quiet residential area and within short drive to the city centre and beaches. Would highly recommend the house for a holiday stay.

A genuine French neighbourhood

A genuine French neighbourhood

We have just spent a lovely couple days in Concarneau. Phillippe's house is well situated in a quiet neighbourhood very close to the town centre. It has a beautiful peaceful garden with various areas to sit both in the sun and shade. As well as this you can sit in the sunny conservatory, dining room or kitchen so lots of choice to catch the morning and evening sun. Through the back gate is a lovely walk to the lake which also circuits back to the house. The house itself was very well equipped and had good sized bedrooms with very comfortable beds. There are various choices of boulangeries in Concarneau itself. A short drive led us to Oliviero Pascal's artisan boulangerie which had great quality bread and a small but very good selection of patisserie. We enjoyed looking round the covered open market which is open every morning in Concarneau. There are also many cafes and restaurants by the harbour and free parking at the disused railway station. We can't wait to return, thank you Philippe and Ghislaine for your warm welcome it was lovely to meet you both!

We enjoyed a memorable week in the lovely home of Philippe and Ghislaine. The house is in a very quiet and peacefull location, ideally situated for visiting places like Quimper and Benodet.The home is ultra comfortable and spacious, with every convenience you could possibly need. Très bien accueillis par Philippe et Ghislaine ; leur grande maison, très bien équipée, nous (6 adultes) a permis avec ses 4 chambres de passer un très agréable séjour. Les 15 jours de beau temps (+ de 30°c, du rarement vu pour la région), les bons restos, les jolies balades, que vouloir de plus. Merci à vous 2 pour vos bons conseils et votre bon humeur. Maison très conviviale, accueillante et avec un belle espace vert. Nous y avons passé un très bon séjour, elle est situé dans un quartier calme, ce que nous avons apprécié. Elle correspondait totalement à nos attentes. Ghislaine et Philippe nous ont très bien accueilli, ce fut un plaisir d’avoir fait leur connaissance 🙂 Le petit plus ce sont les langoustines qui nous ont achetés pour le repas du soir de notre arrivée. Je leur dis un grand merci et ce sera avec plaisir d’y retourner 🙂 Je recommande sans hésitation.

Pour un séjour d’une semaine à Concarneau, nous avons loué cette très charmante maison. Très bien équipée, canapés confortables, literies de très bonne facture, matériels de cuisine adaptés et complets. Calme absolu dans une petite résidence. Le super plus de cette location, c’est ja cinvivialite et la disponibilité des propriétaires. L’accueil est chaleureux et tellement sympathique, dans le contexte social aujourd’hui, ça fait un bien fou. Recommandé avec intensité.

Jolie maison agréable, calme et propriétaire très sympathique. Très bonne literie et cheminée très efficace qui apporte un réel plus, surtout par mauvais temps. Quelques remarques cependant : ménage à l'arrivée pas au top, couverts vétustes et vaisselle (insuffisante au niveau des plats) qui mériteraient d'être renouvelés ainsi qu'une partie du linge de toilette. Lumière très insuffisante dans la salle de bain du haut et aucune aération dans les toilettes du 1er étage. Hormis ces points d'amélioration, nous avons passé un très bon séjour.

Très bon accueil de Philippe et Ghislaine avec petits cadeaux d'arrivée, belle maison bien équipée et bien située, au calme. Idéal pour les familles. Hôtes très sympathique, disponible. Philippe nous a consacré une journée pour une balade avec son voilier voir l'archipel des glénans. Adresse à garder pour des prochaines vacances.

Grosses Haus am Rand von Concarneau. Lediglich die fußläufige Entfernung zu Restaurant oder die Möglichkeit von Abendspaziergänge hat gefehlt. Aber die Region is wunderschön und die Vermieter sehr freundlich. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Par ou commencer : Villa trés agréable ,quartier trés calme proche du centre ville et de sa belle plage de sable blanc. Endroit strategique pour visiter les alentours avec en prime le beau temps . Le point fort de la location c est les hôtes ,Ghislaine et Philippe avec qui on a eu un échange de qualité ,des personnes adorables et attachantes on ne peut que recommander et on se fera une joie d y retourner .Allez s y les yeux fermés 😉

Nous avons passé d'excellentes vacances entre amies. Une maison spacieuse qui nous a permis à chacune d'avoir notre propre espace de vie. Maison placée dans une résidence calme et proche de Concarneau et de sa ville close. Accueil excellent et chaleureux avec des hôtes merveilleux, soucieux de vous faire passer un excellent séjour ! Une région magnifique!

Philippe et Ghislaine sont très chaleureux, disponibles : nous avons été très bien accueillis. La maison est grande et chacun y trouve son espace (nous étions 8 adultes)... nous avons bien profité de la terrasse et de la véranda, coins idéaux pour partager un bon moment entre amis. La maison est bien placée pour assurer les ravitaillements sans difficultés. Nous avons découvert une région de Bretagne magnifique : Concarneau avec sa ville close, Quimper, Audierne et la pointe du Raz, Pont-Aven, Beg-Meil et la baie de Concarneau... il y en a pour tous les goûts : musées, jolies villes à visiter mais aussi superbes randonnées le long du sentier des douaniers, magnifiques plages où se baigner... Ces belles vacances ne nous donnent qu’une envie : revenir pour continuer à découvrir ce beau coin de Bretagne!

Belle et grande maison, très fonctionnelle et bien équipée, avec un joli jardin très bien entretenu, qui appelle à la détente. Située très au calme, la maison de Philippe est pourtant à quelques minutes en voiture du centre de Concarneau et de la ville close et offre de jolies ballades dès la sortie du jardin. Les environs et les plages sont magnifiques, sans parler de l'accueil exceptionnel de Philippe et Ghislaine, tous deux adorables et aux petits soins ;-) Nous recommandons sans hésiter!

Séjour parfait dans cette maison situé dans un quartier calme et ensoleillé de Concarneau. Nous sommes venus à 6 y passer trois jours qui se sont avérés parfaits. Philippe et sa compagne avaient tout préparé avant notre arrivée et on tout fait pour que notre séjour se déroule du mieux possible.
