Cosy room with beautiful views!

Very cosy room in a beautiful location - the view from the balcony was stunning and we loved that we were able to go for a quick dip in the river after our hikes! The host was also very friendly.

Amazing!

Here we are, returning once more to this amazing chalet, enticed by the incredible price and quality on offer. The view from the window is stunning, showcasing nature's artistry. The apartment provides everything we need, and the terrace is a magical spot where fireflies twinkle at night and the mountain river sings. It's a remarkable experience that leaves an indelible mark on our hearts.

Enjoyable stay at a quirky friendly place in a fabulous location

This was the second time I have stayed here and again I was not disappointed. Gunther the owner is a great guy, very attentive to his guests' needs and communicated really well both before and during our holiday. We stayed in room 5 which is a actually a very comfortable apartment with fabulous river views from the balcony and a full kitchen. Gunther has done a great job of incorporating a new shower room/toilet into the design since my last visit. We love the quirkiness of this property (dating back to the 1600's).....but it's not for anyone that likes pristine clinical 5 star hotels though. Gunther is a bit of a DIY fan so some of the property features are a bit unusual - however it's all very clean and the location & facilities such as the garden are brilliant.

The entry/exit into/out of the property with a car is a bit tricky....could do with one of those mirrors opposite the exit.

We couldn't have hoped for a better holiday apartment.

We spent eight wonderful days in Lofer at the Pension Eckschlager, and we simply couldn’t have hoped for a better holiday apartment. The location is superb; the rooms we had were big, quite, clean, cozy, very comfortable, offered magnificant views of the mountains and the river (see photos), and were equipped with more or less everything you’d need both to cook occasional simple meals and relax in the evening (even if the sofa could have been a little softer); and we found the hosts both extremely friendly and more than willing to be of assistance, whether providing hiking tips or offering us – admittedly during an ‘out of season’ week – free-of-charge hire of some equipment. If and when we return to Lofer, we’re very likely to return here. Recommended without reservation!

there is tobacco smoke throughout the whole building including the bedrooms. Even the smoke smell is on the towels. The owner didn't come with solutions

In general, we liked it, if not for cigarettes everything would be fine. Only because of cigarettes you can put a very

great location, clean, enough space in the room, comfortable bed, the kitchen had everything you need

horrible cigarette smell! It is simply impossible to walk along the corridor! there is a residual smell of cigarettes in the room especially in the kitchen. In the bedroom, if you ventilate the room, there is almost no smell. Very hard for non-smokers!

Location was perfect, hosts were very nice, accommodation was good (it has everything you need, even small kitchen with dishes, pots, electric kettle and stove etc.). The house has an interesting story which begins in 1631. Price/quality was the best in this region. Highly recommended!

Surprisingly, the room is partially cleaned every day. I never see that before when I stay in a guest house. Location is reasonable ok when you have a car. The guest house has the best cost performance. Landlord is very kind. Highly recommended this place.

Excellent, comfortable apartment with a very well equipped kitchen, free parking, in a great location for outdoor activities. Within walking distance of the center and the cable car. Along the river and road, but it is extremely quiet. Very kind host.

Dejligt ophold og så kan man køre til Steinplatte, 10 min fra Lofer med rigtig godt skiføre, område.

Rigtig god lejlighed med masser af plads og lækker terrasse, og rigtig flinke værter. 200 m. fra centrum og lift, helt perfekt. Kæmpe service, da vi glemte 3 tasker, og værten har tilbudt at sende det vigtigste til os.

Zentral gelegene Unterkunft mit gutem Preis-Leistungsverhältnis

Super Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Sehr zentral gelegen, man ist innerhalb von 5 Minuten zu Fuß an der Talstation. Wir hatten 2 Zimmer und alles was man braucht, ist vorhanden. Wenn wir nochmal in Lofer sind, kommen wir gerne wieder.

Etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber das hat man vorher schon gelesen und war für uns okay

Es gibt keinen Grund zu Beanstandungen. Ausstattung für normale Ansprüche völlig ausreichend.

Optimal für Gäste, die nach einer Unterkunft suchen, die nah an der Talstation gelegen ist. Diese konnten wir binnen 10 Minuten zu Fuß erreichen. Für die Lage ist die Ferienwohnung auch vergleichsweise preiswert. Trotz der direkt anliegenden viel befahrenen Straße empfanden wir dies nicht als störend.

Ein durchgängig funktionierendes WLAN wäre wünschenswert gewesen.

Ligging was perfect, perfect om helemaal tot rust te komen, Gondelbaan dicht in de buurt, Mooie omgeving, En als er wat is komt de Heer des huizes gewoon ff helpen! Kort om perfect, En ook nog is echt Oostenrijks nostalgisch verblijf is mijn mening !

干渉されず毎日楽しめた。ゲストカードが家内の分、メールアドレスの間違えで手に入らず苦労したが、最後までやって下さり手にする事が出来た。このカードはとても便利。山の頂迄、3回も行ったし、ザルツブルグにも2回出掛けた。自腹で払うとかなり高額になる。但し市税として23ユーロ位到着時に徴収される。

洗濯物を手洗いでしたので、不便だった。あまりこだわりのないご主人だから、結構自分なりの判断で処置した。これは良い点かな？
