Lovely stay in a great spot

Was really nice! Family had limited English but lovely. Rooms were really nice, next to a few wineries and easy walk into the little town.

Only negative was glass at front of our apartment, light came through very easily but very very small comment. Would stay again for sure.

Incredible hospitality, serene courtyard full of plants a true taste of rural Montenegro.

The owners were amazing, and the chalets were cozy, secure and very clean! They offered breakfast(€10 per person) and it was so nice to have that option since it is somewhat remote. We couldn’t get a sense of the layout of the lodge when booking, but it is a few private lodges with a shared garden full of gorgeous plants and fruit trees. It felt private and secure. The chalets were very clean, the hosts welcome us with lemonade and were so kind and accommodating.

The Ethno lodge is a bit off the beaten path, and while we found it easily it is somewhere remote.

Lovely lodge in pretty garden

Beautiful setting in a hillside above Virpazar in a well kept garden. Spacious lodge with all facilities including aircon. Family run, friendly and welcoming especially grandpa and grandma! Excellent breakfast provided for 10 eur extra. Recommended.

It was hard to get a taxi in the village, so if you don't want to walk 20 mins on the country lane (if no car) this place isn't for you. We were fine as enjoyed walking it.

Perfect stay in Montenegro!

We had a fantastic stay at Ethno Lodge AB! The hosts were so warm and welcoming, we were greeted with a lovely cold glass of lemonade upon arrival! The house was stunning - very spacious, clean, and well-equipped and the host provided plenty of activity options! The location was remote and peaceful. Unfortunately we only stayed for one night but will definitely love to stay again when we come back to Montenegro. Highly recommend this place!

Great property in a tranquil location within walking distance of the town

Very comfortable and well equipped cabin set in a tranquil location within walking distance of the town. It’s conveniently located for exploring both Lake Skadar and also the beaches and towns on the coast. The hosts were friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend the speed boat tours of Lake Skadar offered by the owner- it was a highlight of our trip.

Beautiful place with village vibe

The place is clean and the people in the place are very friendly. We also took the Breakfast from them and it was worth the value. Lots of things included in the Breakfast. The car parking provided was an added bonus for us.

The location is a little bit far from Virpazar's center and might be too far by walk. You need to have the car to come to and from the place.

Warm, welcoming stay submerged in nature

A cosy retreat run by the loveliest family, who gave us the warmest welcome. The room is equipped with everything you need to be comfortable for a few days or more. The balcony was amazing and had a stunning view. The room was spacious and cool for the warm evenings. You’re surrounded by nature and natural white noise which is so peaceful.

We loved this place but just a note to say the walk into the town (and the only shop) is about 20/25 mins which wasn’t a problem for us but just something to be aware of if you haven’t got a car or struggle walking.

Amazing location. Beautiful village. Very welcoming hosts. Delicious and large breakfast. Room was super clean and spacious. Loved the balcony. Property and the gardens, clearly well kept and loved!

Our favourite place to stay in Montenegro!

Every detail for our comfort had been thought of when furnishing the cabin, it was absolutely beautiful and was so much more luxurious than the cabin we were expecting. Welcome drinks, an outstanding breakfast set on the little table and chairs outside the front door - all wonderful. We could have stayed so much longer!

Veripazar Ethno Lodge

The location. A 10.minute walk to Veripazar though there is adequate parking in Veripazar if needed Breakfast (huge) was served to.my room. it was great. Veripazar was a great place for Boating trips, hiking or socialising. The boat trips are really great. The 3 hour trip is well worth it

Very nice lodge at Skadar Lake. Everything looks like brand new, very clean and with a lot of atmosphere. Beautiful garden. Aleksandar and his grandparents are doing a great job, and they are very friendly and helpful!

Wonderful setting, lovely hosts, easy transfer from the airport booked through the lodge. Studio apartment was fully equipped Beautiful area.

Tourist information in the town recommended going on the website for maps which were not of the greatest quality.

Our stay was lovely! The lodge is beautiful and peaceful, and very convenient for Virpazar and exploring Lake Skadar. The team were very friendly and helpful, including staying up for our late check-in.

A romantic, quiet getaway for any couple to enjoy.

The property is set in a beautiful scenic location with restaurants and stores only a 15 minute walk away, the furnishings and decor are that of a high standard and it was clean upon arrival. Also Aleksandar’s grandparents brought us some bowls of fresh fruit which we appreciated greatly.

If I had to find something, it’d be that there is no curtain over the main door so the light in the apartment is not blocked out completely but this was not a problem for us as we were up reasonably early.

Beautiful room, peaceful surroundings. Aleksandar and his grandparents were extremely accommodating- fresh pomegranate juice, coffee and sweet treats gifted to us every day! We very much enjoyed our stay here :)

Nice place to stay near Virpizar

- the hosts: welcoming and very kind (thanks again for the cake!) - the location of the place, less than 5 minutes by car from the center of Virpazar - very quiet and easy to find - parking at the back of the house

- unfortunately Internet was not working when we were there, making it a bit difficult to organise our upcoming day trips (the host was really helpful trying to find out a way to repair it) - no dining table inside

A lovely little chalet, away from the hustle and bustle of the coast

Picking peaches from the trees outside the lodge was wonderful. it was a 20 min walk into Virpazar for dinner which was a nice way to end the day. Aleksander’s grandparents were wonderful hosts. The lodge was really “ home from home”.
