Gorgeous, but needs some minor tweaks

This is a stunning apartment, in a gorgeous and central location. The welcome was lovely. The lamps were on to create effect, music playing and there was a pleasant breeze blowing in at the balcony (which was a stunning spot to enjoy a glass of wine in the evening and to have coffee & breakfast in the morning) The host was super flexible about arrival (we had problems on the journey so were not sure what time we would arrive) Make sure you allow time in your schedule to fit in a boat trip (a couple of hours or more ideally) I REALLY regretted that we couldn't do this. Really good air conditioning for 1 x bedroom, but not both

Unfortunately, some of the things listed as being there were NOT, and although our host was very obliging, we didn't want to have to keep asking for things. We had been on the road for a couple of weeks so specifically wanted to do washing, hang it to dry and then iron it.. We had to ask for washing powder and a drying rack which he supplied. But there was also no iron or ironing board. Nor actually any poles in the wardrobes to hang anything (all were full of linens/duvets) and there was 1 x hanger only. If its listed as being available, then it should be. We would have liked to use the bigger bedroom but there was no aircon in there, and although the door was open to air it, it was like an oven, so we opted for the smaller room. The mattress was excellent quality, so we SHOULD have slept well, but I think possibly a slat in the base was broken? As a result the mattress dipped in the middle. Because of this, the fitted sheet kept coming off the corners of the bed and wrapping itself around us and we spent a very uncomfortable night rolling into the middle. Take mosquito repellant! This is an area of lakes, and if you're prone to getting bitten, then you're fair game here!

Very comfortable apartment in a great location

Great apartment, beautifully presented. Loved the attention to detail; the amazing bookcase; the great antique furniture and the super views from the huge picture window.

Would have like a little more kitchen equipment, namely a kettle and a toaster. The single ring burner was ok but making a meal was rather difficult.

Perfect apartment stay in Virpazar.

Fantastic and very stylish apartment with great balcony and sunset views. Zoran was a brilliant host, very friendly and also his boat cruise was a fantastic experience with great music and wine together with his knowledge of the lake. Highly recommend.

A perfect vacation, perfect host and perfect apartment

Everything was absolutely perfect. Zoran hosted us wonderfully and arranged a private tour on Lake Skadar for us at a fair price. It was amazing! He took care of everything we needed. The apartment is stunning and beautifully designed. No doubt we will return.

Perfect location, right in the center of Virpazar, very close to the river, perfect to enjoy sunset Big apartment, functional and very well decorated Very nice host - we did the tour on the lake with him early in the morning, very convenient and appreciated. Thank you again Zoran !

This is the best location in Virpazar. The view of the village , especially at night with a chorus of frogs is magical

This family-owned and run property is impeccably maintained. The owners are organized, thoughtful, and industrious, also running a guided tour of Lake Skadaar in a handmade boat. The furnishings are modern, tasteful, and comfortable.

Stunning views on Virpazar and a very well equipped apartment.

Very spacious and well equipped apartment. Nice decor and in a good location with views over the village of Virpazar and the surrounding mountains.

The apartment itself is slightly above average in terms of pricing. However it is spacious and very well equipped. The village of Virpazar needs to be better kept. We could see trash in the lake and in the streets. It's a gem but keeping it clean would improve the impression on visitors.

Lux Stay at Lake Skadar

The Lux was a very spacious and comfortable apartment on the river in Lake Skadar. The host was a delight to work with and offered and coordinated great tour options during my stay. The Wi-Fi was consistent and the water pressure was strong. Great space for larger group of travelers. Could easily sleep 6.

Exceptional

Loved the space, decor, and location overseeing the lake. Zoran was a wonderful host, and we even rented his boat with him as Skipper for a private cruise on the lake, which included spotting birds and swimming in the open lake. Our entire stay was wonderfully relaxing for a couple of days before we headed to the airport to leave Montenegro.

A lovely 2 night stay in Virpazar

Great location with Parking, amazing view and very responsive host. Apartment was furnished well and very spacious and we were grateful for the air conditioning in the living room.

As it was so hot would have liked a fan in the bedrooms, however we were there at the start of the heatwave so normally this would probably not be needed.

What a place. Tha apartment is probably the best we've stayed in. Interior is very modern greek style and in such a brilliant location. Even had a pelican fly past the balcony. Zoran is a great host and always happy to help. Very highly recommended.

Cozy apartments with a great location

Really great location with a nice view. The living rooms is beautiful with many small nice things. Apartments cozy and even better than on photos. Near you can find restaurants and boast and kayaks

Lovely, spacious living room with wonderful view over the river and mountains. Perfect location for boat trips on Lake Skadar.

Bed linen and towels were clean but very worn and threadbare. The kitchen was quite limited with a single induction hob to fit one pan. Upgrading the bed sheets would make a big difference.

The whole apartment atmosphere is very good indeed! Huge 95 sq meters property.

The Apartment was extremely clean like it was just freshly built. The equipment was more than enough so that you did not miss anything to spend a great evening in the apartment. On top of that the balcony is big enough and face straight the little „harbor“ of virpazar

we asked the owner for some washing product to use the washing machine and we did not get any reply back after being told that he is bringing us the stuff.

The location is superb. The host is nice. We hired his boat for Lake Skadar and the trip was good. Please don't expect much on the bird watching front but the place is fantastic. The apartment was clean and nicely decorated An old gentleman received us, who may be the father of the host, was very kind and even tried to help us with our luggage.

The kettle had some powder-like substance. Though we washed it, it was still there. The Washing Machine is there but the powder was missing. However, apart from these issues, the place was fantastic

We couldn't get the shower to be properly hot, we might have missed a hot water switch but we didn't meet Zoran until we left so we didn't know where this was.
