Potentially very nice place but improvements are required

The building is newly erected, so the apartment is nice and clean. The bed was comfortable, and the AC was adequate. There was enough hot water in a boiler for a decent shower. The WiFi was OK. There are a couple of decent breakfast places around.

When I came, the host was abroad, and contacting her was tricky, especially because the host did not speak English, and I did not speak Serbian or French. Her sister, who settled me in the apartment, also did not speak English. So I ended up translating my messages to Serbian and sending them to the host via Viber, and sometimes I had to call the host saying "Molimo provjerite poruke" ("Check messages, please"). As of the parking, there was a fenced and gated parking lot available for guests. I got a parking pass but quickly discovered it was getting harder and harder to park there starting about 5 pm, and by 7 pm the latest, the lot was full. So I recalled the host mentioned in her comment an underground gated garage with dedicated places, but she told me those places were occupied by her own cars at that moment. Also, there were lots of small things which were incomplete, missing, or defective. Like the apartment has a bath, but it is quite small and does not fit a grown-up. And when I arrived, there was no bathtub plug, and the one I got later did not fit a drain (see the picture). There was a nice-looking clock on the wall, but it did not run. There was a canvas, but it was on the floor, not on the wall. There were plenty of dishes and utensils in the kitchen, but there was no bottle opener or corkscrew. There are three lights in the chandelier and two switches in the control unit, so you might think that you can turn on any number of dumps from one to three, but no - there is actually only one switch connected, so it's either three lamps or none. But the most amazing thing was the TV. The TV interface was in German, and none of the channels worked. I spent 10 minutes switching the language. Then I found out the TV was tuned to the UK channels (don't ask), and this was why it didn't show anything.

Location was good

No parking as noted in the ad, we had to roam around and finally park on the pavement. The appt wasn't thoroughly cleaned, the bathroom mat was smelly. The sofa bed had no sleeping pillows and the kids had to sleep on the sofa pillows. One roll of toilet paper for 4 persons and 3 nights of stay.
