Disappointed in this as a Hilton property and cannot recommend

Location. Front desk staff and waitresses very friendly.

The room was small, had a smell, very poor lighting, bathroom wallpaper old and scuffed. Restaurant had very slow service, burnt French toast.

Unfortunately, I did not get a room with a terrace. My room faced the street and a car lot. I had to keep the blackout Curtain down for the entire stay. No microwave and noisey room.

For the amount I paid and then I was tucked away in a tiny little closet room at the end of the hallway. The pictures and things it said online that were available to enjoy; we’re indeed NOT. Overall it was waaayyyy toooo expensive for what it offered and promised. Poor staff, not friendly, never had new towels, mt room cleaned, etc. hey I paid $600

From the outside I had my reservations and was rethinking my options. I followed through though and as I walked through the front door realized the beauty and vision of this boutique property. This place has been transformed inside in very simple ways that make sense. comfort is maximized in the space available. the semi-connected coffee shop and restaurant are highly rated in their own trade. this makes for a highly motivated staff and affective management that I had not been exposed to but immediately saw the benefits of. I loved everything about this place!

Actually very disappointed in this hotel choice.

We really like the location, and easy walk to the beach, and an easy walk to restaurants etc.

While we liked the physical location of the hotel, being located on a first floor room which looked directly onto the sidewalk that was well utilized was a big downer for us.A lot could be done to improve the aesthetics so that guests could have privacy and yet enjoy some sun in their rooms if wanted. Using landscaping so that people didn’t walk right up next to the windows and or providing window coverings that allowed sheer coverage and not just blackout shades. But our biggest issue, and apparently I did not read all the reviews, was the absolute transparency in terms of sound of the walls. You could hear everything. Downloaded a White Noise app on the phone but that really accomplished nothing. I’m not sure what the hotel can do to improve the sound, but unless you have complete sound deafening air plugs this is not a place for you.

Extremely clean, excellent staff. Amazing location and the amenities around the hotels were worth the amount we paid to stay and more. I cannot wait to go back to The Fin with the family and explore some more.

The onside was NON STOP! People coming in and out all night by our room (the emergency exit. The two ladies that worked there were not helpful and didn’t know much.
