PlayHouse Apartments

The apartment was just what we needed. Plenty of space, clean, and in a great location.

There are alot of stairs to the 4th floor!! After walking all day it was hard going for us.

Wir waren zu zweit und es fehlte uns nix grundlegendes, praktisch und zweckmäßig eingerichtet. Waschmaschine inkl. Waschpulver und Spülmaschine mit Tabs. Kaffeemaschine mit Cups u Tee ebenfalls vorhanden. Sehr angenehme Matratzen. Direkt zwischen Altstadt u jüdischem Viertel, sehr gute Straßenbahnanbindung. gebuchtes Frühstück (im Hotel nebenan) war auch top. Es wurde vergessen die Voucher dafür bereitzulegen, wurde aber umgehend geklärt u nachgeliefert. Im Hotel braucht es aber definitiv ne 2. Kaffeemaschine.

Unsere Wohnung war im Dachgeschoss ohne Fahrstuhl, also jeweils 104 Stufen. Wer Raucher is, muss dafür jeweils in den Hof runter. Die preiswerte Möbelausstattung war völlig okay für uns, im Verhältnis Preis/Leistung jedoch nur befriedigend.

Very spacious and great location

Very big and spacious apartment for a family of 4. Clean bedding and towels were provided as well as additional bedding in the sofa bed. There was a washing machine in the bathroom and a big dishwasher. Dishes were clean. Close to city centre and a private and secure car parking provided although a little pricey. Good security with 4 way locks on doors. Air con/ heating available and working.

The property looks nice from the overview however it is "well used" (possibly from the tourists) and could do with some decorating. The bathroom tiles were cracked and some of the cracks were very sharp, enough to catch your feet. The bath had loads of chips in and needed sealing and silicone as the floor was soaked each time after use, this could of also been due to a poorly fitted and overhanging shower curtain. Rusty lights in the bathroom and the bathroom cabinet doors falling off. Most of the kitchen drawers wouldn't open/close properly and had rusty handles. Kitchen tap isn't working properly, water was coming out on all angles. One of the children beds had a broken frame. Curtains in main bedroom wouldn't close properly as kept getting stuck, curtain pole fell off. The ironing board was old and flimsy and wouldn't stay up, kept falling down whilst ironing. The iron is rusty and extremely dirty and old. It spat loads of rust out and stained a white top!! Unable to use Netflix as it was set up in Spanish or French and we weren't able to change it, kept coming up with an error sign. Sofa was extremely hard on the wooden parts. We would not return again.
