FILEY FARM IS LOCATED ON THE OUTSKIRTS OF THE SEASIDE TOWN OF FILEY AND IS A LOVELY 4 PERSON COTTAGE.

CONVERTED FROM THE OLD HAY LOFT IT HAS VAULTED CEILINGS AND EXPOSED BEAMS AND IS ST IN LOVELY GARDENS.

IDEAL FOR A FAMILY OR GROUP OF 4 OR A COUPLE WANTING LOVELY ACCOMMODATION IN NICE GARDENS IN A SEMI RURAL LOCATION

THERE IS A LARGE DOUBLE ROOM WITH KING SIZE BED AND ANOTHER WITH FULL SIZE TWIN BEDS. BOTH BEDROOMS HAVE FLAT SCREEN TV 'S .

THERE IS A HOUSE BATHROOM WITH BATH AND SHOWER OVER.

DOWNSTAIRS IS OPEN PLAN WITH HARDWOOD FLOORS TOGETHER WITH FULLY EQUIPPED KITCHEN WITH DISHWASHER AND A DOWNSTAIRS CLOAKROOM.

THE LOUNGE AREA HAS LEATHER SOFAS AND LARGE FLAT SCREEN TV AND DOOR TO THE OUTSIDE GARDEN AND PATIO AREA

A REAL BONUS TO MANY IS THE AMPLE PARKING DIRECTLY OUTSIDE THE COTTAGE NO SEARCHING FOR A PARKING PLACE WHEN RETURNING HOME AFTER A BUSY DAY EXPLORING

THE COTTAGE OFFERS GREAT VALUE COMPARED TO THOSE ON SOME OF THE NEARBY LARGE ACCOMMODATION SITES

Unfortunately we did not have a view of Filey Bay due to tall hedging however, although it would have been nice, it didn't put us off and we'll stay again.It was extremely close to the Bridlington/Scarbro' bus stops both buses calling into Filey too so was a great advantage (bad knees & free bus pass)etc.etc. Cottage immaculate. Home from home. Just right for us. We might try Flambro' View Cottage next time to compare. If I was looking to criticise, my only criticsm would be at 79 years old climbing into the bath to shower is a no no. That aside, we enjoyed every minute.

Great property and location.There was a fault on the upstairs toilet on the first day but this was rectified very quickly.The hosts were lovely and really helpful.This is the first time I have used the services of VRBO, would definitely recommend using them again.

Lovely place to stay with easy access to Filey.Brilliantly presented cottage our only fault would be the internet which was nonexistent but it wasn’t a problem to us as we turned the hotspots on on our phones.

We had a lovely stay and the hosts were very helpful. Beautiful beach and lots of other attractions around. Just a note to say most of the local takeaway/ deliveries are cash only. The WiFi was very unreliable so expect to hotspot your phone but this is stated in the property description. All in all we were very happy with our stay.

Fantastic place to stay. Well equipped, comfortable and great base to go and explore from. 5min drive into Filey and the beach, 20mins to both Scarborough and Bridlington. Already recommended to friends as they were interested in exploring this area.

Very old farmhouse converted into two cottages, very spacious for just us two. Fully equiped kitchen area, tv in lounge and both bedrooms. Outside table and chairs ample parking. Is on slip road near busy main road but could hear no traffic noise at night. We soon found the short cut country path past caravan park into Filey near the roundabout on left which comes out to Filey Park and cafe. In all no complaints and excellent value for money even forgiving a poor WiFi connection which comes and goes.

We had a lovely week staying in Filey Cottage. It was immaculately clean and comfortable and in a great location for walking in to Filey either along the road or through footpaths. Also convenient for exploring the coast and the North York moors. We absolutely fell in love with Filey and would highly recommend.

From booking the holiday to all the information I was given about the accommodation was so easy to follow. Lovely little cottage. Great spot. Just a 15 minute walk into Filey centre. Was met by Caroline who gave us plenty of information. Really roomy cottage. Lovely and clean. Would definitely recommend. I will be booking again.

Two retired couples in our group. Our accommodation was sparkling clean with a nice outside area and ample parking. Comfortable beds and everything we needed for a wonderful stay. Semi rural location approx 1 mile walk into town and a little further to the beautiful beach. Golf and pool swimming close by as well as various walks. Highly recommend this property. The owners were unobtrusive and answered our questions in a timely manner.

Although essentially a rural property and very quiet with views over fields to Bempton Cliffs in the distance it is on the doorstep almost of Filey. Lovely stay and we would return.

The property was very good only small things could make it better . My sister and myself felt that a curtain or blind on the main door would have made us feel less exposed at night when the light was on you could see into the kitchen and living area. The two other small things which would have been helpful were a full length mirror and a hairdryer otherwise perfect. Johanna and Gina Camp

we would like to keep this cottage a secret so it would be available when we want to visit Filey again, but l guess we have to share it, lol, the cottage was so warm and comfy, everything you could need is in there, great parking, the wi-fi was hit and miss, but was told that before we booked, we were kept upto date from the owners from booking, we just loved it and will be going back,

Beautiful cottage with lovely fittings and surrounding countryside. Very light and airy and spacious. Excellent location for accessing that area. There were only 2 of us staying but the twin bedded room was actually locked off during our stay.

The cottage was lovely - well presented well equipped and very clean. It is about a twenty / twenty five minute walk into Filey (Where the shops restaurants Etc are) which is not a problem on days when the weather is fine, however as it was raining everyday when we were there we ended up driving - not a problem but just to be aware. Cottage was great and would definitely book with the hosts again

We arrived in the dark and missed the slip road so the cottage took a while to find. It's a lovely place to stay, ideal for visiting other area of the coast as its quite central. Some road noise but this doesn't spoil the overall peace and tranquility . Outside area to sit and eat when the weather allows. Short easy walk into Filey and the train station. Well equipped, although we didn't actually cook during our short stay. Cosy twin room, beds very comfy according to my son. The master bedroom is spacious with plenty of storage. The king size bed is quite low, this may be a problem for someone less mobile and the mattress is quite firm. We really enjoyed our stay and would stay again.
