Great little find

A lovely and well kept cottage in a small quiet village south of the Loire valley in the Vienne region. Our family loved it as a base and found a fantastic lake to swim in 30 minutes away as well as visits to Tours (1hr) and other sites.

Wonderful well equipped cottage in beautiful location

Michael was a great host. His cottage was absolutely perfect - comfortable and very well equipped, with a lovely garden to sit out in and relax. The hamlet of Maire is very pretty, with a restaurant within easy walking distance, serving very reasonably priced lunches. I highly recommend this cottage if you like peace, tranquility, and a quaint characterful village with lovely walks and countryside on your doorstep.

A fabulous relaxing home from home!

La Maison Bleu was everything I wanted and more. Set in the sleepy little village of Marie the house is nestled close to the river Creuse and it has been renovated to an excellent standard. We spent many happy hours sitting on the terrace looking up to the stars with only the occasional sound of contented snails plopping down from the hibiscus plant to break the silence. The house is spacious and well presented and with a charming rustic feel that made you feel immediately at home. I really couldn't recommend it highly enough.

Ce propriétaire est 1 voleur, le logement est sale, les matelas ont des traces d urine avec des puces de lits , il y a des cafards, la sdb Refoule des mauvaises odeur, le propriétaire entasse les poubelles avec les odeurs cela attire les rats qui court sur la terrasse des la nuit tombée, des vacances gâcher ! ne recommende pas a mon pire ennemi ! Je n'ai jamais vu 1 todi comme ça même pas les vendeurs de sommeil loue 1tel logement

Das ganze Dorf ist auf dem Gelände des ehemaligen Frauenklosters aus dem 11. Jahrhundert entstanden. Überall sieht man die Artefakten aus der alten Zeiten wie Mauern oder Wände der Häuser. Das Haus unseres Gastgebers war auch ein Teil des Klosters und hat deswegen besonderes Flair. Es wurde natürlich über die Jahrhunderte mehrmals umgebaut und bietet zurzeit alles was ein Urlauber brauchen kann: voll ausgestattete Küche, 2 Badezimmer mit Dusche und WC, 3 Schlafzimmer, 2 davon sind mit den eigenen Waschbecken ausgestattet. In der Küche ist wirklich an alles gedacht: Frischhaltefolie, Backpapier, viele Handtücher usw. Der Gastgeber Michael ist ein sehr netter Mensch und spricht unter anderem Englisch. Wir kommen gerne wieder und würden das Haus weiterempfehlen.

Nous avons passé un séjour agréable au Gite de Charme. Le gîte est bien entretenu et équipé. Les chambres sont aménagées avec goût, literie confortable. L'emplacement est idéal pour des vacances relaxantes. Les propriétaires, Michael et Marcia, sont attentifs et chaleureux. Si l'occasion se présente, nous reviendrons volontiers.

Nous avons passés un merveilleux séjour dans la petite maison bleu. Nous étions 6 personnes et nous avons tous apprécié notre séjour dans cette jolie maison entièrement refaite avec goût. Les propriétaires sont très à l'écoute et vous changent le linge toutes les semaines en vous laissant le propre dans le garage, afin de respecter votre intimité. Lors de notre arrivée, une bouteille de vin et une spécialité de la région nous attendaient ainsi que pleins de brochures sur les sites touristiques à visiter. Nous nous sommes sentis chez nous pendant ces 3 semaines. Merci
