Very nice people who provided some very tasty homemade items for breakfast, and even dropped by with some homemade focaccia in the afternoon. The house is a bit old-fashioned, but that made it very homey. It's very quiet and the rooms are big and clean. And the view outside from the yard is wonderful!
In the living/dining room the heat wasn't working, but the owners provided a space heater instead, which did the trick.

You definitely need a car. It was quiet and so pretty up on the mountain
After 28 hours of travel we needed to check in. It did happen after 4.00 pm on our arrival but there was some discussion about 6.00 pm. Could have been we didn’t understand each other but I think 4 is quite appropriate. We were told we were getting a ‘simpler room’ as the bathroom was ‘broken’ in the room I had booked. We were offered the opportunity to find somewhere else but after a long flight and drive we were not doing that!

This stay was in a very beautiful location. We chose it as we wanted to visit more rural places in Italy. The views were stunning. Lovely, friendly family and a very spacious apartment. Very good value for money.
You do need a car here, as the local restaurants are not within walking distance, which was fine by us as we were looking for beautiful countryside.
