Overall the property was located in a good area and the mountain and river sites from the livingroom where a nice surprise! We had a good number of family (a few children) and it was nice that there was plenty of rooms and even with all the stairs going up and down we did well. I reccomend this property!

The location is perfect - several options for restaurants, boutiques, coffee shops, bakeries, and breweries and within easy access to the interstate to hit all the beautiful sights of Columbia River Gorge. Caution - there are quite a few stairs between all three bedrooms. Keep that in mind for family members with accessibility requirements. Well appointed rental. If you need it, it’s available. The views of the river is perfect and sitting out on the balcony in the evening is very relaxing.

Here for a wedding. The house is situated in the City Center of Hood River. Great downtown, shops, restaurants, friendly neighbors and a very friendly cat named Waffles. Liked the layout of the condo but needs sprucing up, painting, a deep clean, etc. Would rent again.

We had a great stay. Lots of seating in the living space for everyone to hang out. The kitchen had lots of space as well. Beds were very comfortable. Lots of stairs, especially to the 3rd bedroom with the bunks. I had an older person with me that couldn’t do a lot of stairs, so I was constantly having to take the car around the building to get her in the car. Overall, Hood River is beautiful and the location is great gor walking to downtown.

We loved the location, the views, and the floor plan. However, the condition is tired and worn. Needs TLC & some updating. Following are details of the condition. Carpeting needs to be stretched & cleaned, or replaced (had many stains); most furniture is tired looking; beds were comfortable though; towels are old; some mildew in showers; a handful of lights burned out; coffee maker was dirty & wine cooler was loose and unusable; kitchen was well equipped; scratched railings; marked up walls; deck & outdoor furniture was dirty & old; The condition of this condo is nothing that a little TLC couldn't fix. Amy responded right away to a broken closet door on our first day, but ignored our other text message. We had family & friends staying at other local properties that were immaculate. This place could be 5 star spectacular all day long, however, it needs TLC & updates..

The stay was good and we really did love the area and the location. There was so much to do and we loved the little boutiques, shopping, and the restaurants! It was great to have everything within walking distance! There were a couple of issues. The towels seemed old and very used, towels that you would find in a college dorm! Also, and we didn’t find this out until the night before we were leaving, the kitchen counter was full of ants, and when we discovered it, my daughter mentioned that they also had ants in their bathroom on the top floor. I noticed a couple of them early in our stay on the floor in the kitchen near the washer/dryer area, but really didn’t think anything of it at the time. This issue would really need to be fixed before it’s rentable again!

This property is located in an ideal spot, right in town but just a block or two removed from the busiest parts of Hood River. We had 7 family members from 3 generations staying at the property. It was cozy, spacious and well appointed. We cooked most meals in and found the kitchen to have everything we needed to make our meals. Communication with Amy was easy and she responded promptly. My family and I enjoyed our stay and I highly recommend this property!

Superb apartment in Hood River

This apartment has splendid views of the Columbia River and the Cascade Mountain Range in southwestern Washington. The multiple levels of the apartment provide distance between bedrooms, with the living area in between on two different levels. The street level entrance leads directly into the kitchen/dining room area, and the living area is only ten steps up. Its location at the edge of the downtown is perfect.

The mail floor amenities and bedrooms were nicely appointed and clean. The ground floor bedroom is more than two flights of stairs below the kitchen and living room. When we walked to the bottom of the stairs, there was a strong smell of mildew. It was even stronger in the bedroom and bathroom. Mold was visible on the wall of the bathroom. We could not air out the bedroom either. The bedroom/bathroom is a "box" built inside a large garage. The bedroom windows do not open and a back door to the bedroom opens into a small area of the garage. Because the mildew smell was overwhelming and because of the crazy number of steps - 31 to the kitchen and 38 to the living room, part of our family opted to get a hotel room. We complained to the management, but they were not willing to adjust the price. They asked for our pictures of the mold to make sure they knew where to treat for mold.

This place was absolutely gorgeous and was perfect for my bachelorette weekend in Hood River! Each bedroom was on a separate floor along with a bathroom, which allowed everyone to have more privacy. The views of the river were amazing. The Hood River farmers market was also right in the parking lot during our stay! So convenient and fun with everything being within walking distance. I will definitely be returning for futute getaways!

Proximity to town perfect. It was quiet. Parking availability very good. We only cooked in once but from what we saw, the kitchen items were of nice quality and there was everything we needed and more. Even a wood cutting board. Lots of steps to get to parking in back (remember, it is a townhome) so be aware of that. We’ll be back for sure.

The place was spectacular. Close to everything and a pleasure to walk into every night. We did have a little trouble finding all the light switches, but it surpassed our expectations. The only snafu was the communication with the Manager. I did not know that she was going to contact us through our email. Therefore all of her correspondence went to spam. Once that was sorted out everything was fine. Lots of room for eight people

A wonderful location that comfortable accommodated 6 adults for a long weekend. The kitchen was well appointed, the beds were comfortable, the place was clean and the location was perfect. Walkable to everything you need. One note, no bath soap/shampoo/etc so make sure you remember to pack these.
