Alizes - Luxury, Flagship Best Gorge Views, Downtown, Theater Room, Exceptional

Hosted our daughter's wedding party at this property in Oct. 2022. Plenty of space on the main level to have the hair & make-up artists work on the wedding party of 8. This property was clean and is in a nice location, but needs updating - fresh paint, carpeting and some new bedding. One of the dishwashers did not work at all. Some other things need updating or repair - broken chair in one of the bedrooms, worn nightstand and desk, torn curtain in master bedroom, moldy shower curtain liner, some old mattresses. The deck is huge with a wonderful view, but had a table with mismatched chairs and a few other pieces that were not, in my opinion, to the standards of a property that rents in this price range. The kitchen was pretty well stocked, but needs additional utensils (I think there were only 10 forks total) and drinking glasses, etc. This home has 6 bedrooms - only 4 with en suite full baths. There are 2 bedrooms that only have access to a 1/2 bath in the hallway. This might work for some groups, but not all. The master bedroom was nice, but does not have a king bed as stated. The master bathroom is open to the bedroom and the shower is not private - has no door and is exposed to the sinks. The listing for this property needs to be updated with pictures of all of the bedrooms with current furniture and bedding. I found that the pictures made this property look better than it was and upon arrival I was slightly disappointed. I wished I had been able to view this property in person before renting, but was unable to. I poured over the other reviews to assist in making my decision to rent the property or not and ultimately hoped it would be okay. It was just that - okay. Hope that my review, while lengthy, helps someone else to make a well informed decision for themself.

Beautiful view of Hood River on a huge deck, and great location to walk into town. The house has tons of space with plenty of beds and bathrooms. It is a bit outdated, but aside from that a wonderful place.

A beautiful home with a perfect location; walking distance to shops and a view of the river. The design of the home is ideal for a group of 10 like ours with plenty of private space as well as spots to gather. The view of the hills and river seemed endless. The only reasons we didn't give 5 stars was the smaller beds in a couple rooms and the lack of a way to enjoy some music on the main level.

Amazing large home with knockout views! This house was the perfect home for our daughters 36th birthday party. Arrived, the property management company, was such a great help quickly and promptly answering every question we had. The home is huge. The views simply can’t be compared to anything. The kitchen was well appointed and had everything we needed. We will definitely be back if we ever go to Hood River.

Really enjoyed our stay in Hood River. The Alizes house has a beautiful view of the Columbia River, room for large families and close to everything you need for vacation. We met up with the west coast family members and had great dinners on the deck . My only suggestion is a bigger grill for outdoor cooking and two garbage cans for outside(since trash is only every other week. Overall I highly recommend the house .

Amazing property with spectacular views of Hood River and the Columbia Gorge. Spacious, easily accommodated a group of 10.

This house is good for a large group and the view is fantastic. Be aware that there are tripping hazards on the upper level due to the elevated kitchen and a step down at the front door. Our overall review of 3 is based upon the home needing a proper cleaning, the grill not working, and a temperamental dishwasher. (There was debris on floors, in a shower, and were dusty shelves.) With some TLC, this will be an outstanding rental but right now it's a little worn and needs cleaning.

Could easily be a 4 or 5 STAR property. Great views and kitchen. Lots of ants on the kitchen counter, street side. Maintenance is needed badly. Dead light bulbs or totally mismatched, broken lights, missing light switches, trash containers were all full most of the week. Ceiling missing plaster. Stained carpeting should have been cleaned. All in all we had a nice time but the property was less than expected. I did not expect the house to be so worn. I am not as much complaining as I am wanting to help you out!

Perfect home for large families. Enough room for everyone to have their space. Walking distance to town. Quiet neighborhood. Great views! One suggestion: Having a king bed instead of a queen in the upstairs bedroom would have been nice.

A group of us stayed here over the weekend and had the best time! The house is very spacious with plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms for everyone. Location is great, right above downtown Hood River. The decks are amazing and have beautiful panoramic views of the river. I would absolutely stay here again!

This property is in an incredible place with over the top views of the Columbia river and town of Hood River. It is a hilly town and this location was perfect for walking to all the cool shops, pubs, restaurants.

Loved the House! Wonderful location with easy access to town. Very generous bedrooms with good beds and linen. Well appointed kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals. Everything was as advertised and we will definitely be back next year.

The house is as presented online. It has a magnificent view. A couple things to consider before renting. The Master bedroom as well as most other bedrooms only have window coverings on half of the window. This means when the sun comes up ( 5am during the summer) you are up. The master bedroom bathroom is open into the bedroom so if one wants to get up and shower you will wake up anyone sleeping in the room. The house has amazing deck space but minimal and kinda old nothing matches furniture on the deck. there is a small grill but they do provide you with gas for it and we used it quite often. Kitchen equipped but not as you would expect for this price point. A few mismatched cheap wine glasses , no sharp knives, two dishwashers but only one works. Fireplaces...We didn't really need them but wanted them for the ambiance ..could not get to work. Upstairs family room TV could not get to work ...After about half an hour we got the movie room to work but could not get much in the4 way of channels to watch .... Not a big deal but we had teenage boys with us....Bedding not exactly what I would expect for this price point..It was ok but nothing great... The house is gorgeous and tidy and the views are worth the price.

We stayed in this beautiful home for our son's wedding in Hood River. There was so much room that we invited all the groomsmen to get ready there! We also served breakfast to my family. The views of the river and downtown are incredible! Our only problem was that we could never figure out the lights exactly. All in all it was an exceptional property and we would definitely recommend it!

This wonderful house has the best view in Hood River from just about every room in the house. The deck is awesome...on all 3 floors. Easy walk down to central Hood River. Comfy beds, great kitchen and a giant TV room for the old folks with us addicted to Fox News :).

Outstanding home which met our expectations. Highly recommended.

This house made our stay in Hood River very enjoyable. Ample room and great proximity to the downtown core. The only negative aspects were the lack of TV channels on the upstairs TV. A total of 7 channels were available on the Dish TV box. Not sure what the issue was, but that needs attention. And the bathroom toilet was running the whole time. Maintenance was contacted and they were aware of the issue. Very annoying.

Perfect for a family gathering.

WOW! This house is perfect if you need to accommodate a lot of people. Almost every bedroom has it's own bathroom which is really fantastic so everyone has their own private space. The outdoor spaces are incredible. The views are beyond words amazing.

First, your house and the location is beautiful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. A few items you should be aware of: 1) The toilet in the upstairs master requires new flush hardware. It ran constantly so we simply closed the manual shut off and did not use. 2) The theater room was a disappointment. We could get a Dish signal to the TV upstairs, but no matter what we did we could not get any Dish picture to the theater screen. Further, someone else had had problems. Batteries were both missing in the remotes, and in one the batteries were in backwards. In another the batteries were dead. I sorted thru that mess, but failed on getting a signal to the projector...I got the projector on, but it showed a "signal failure" was present, even though the Disc was activated. This was extremely disappointing, as the deal closer in my selection was the Theater Room. Pls feel free to contact me on this unfortunate experience John Weaber 503-502-1232

we stayed for 5 nights during late February. best location in town. the house is one of a kind and amazing. the bedroons are large, most have their own bathrooms. good modern kitchen. a movie room. you have a 180 degree view of the town, river and gorge.

We had a fun stay with two families, lots of cooking. Sorry it was winter and we didn't get to use the amazing deck!

Place is amazing, View is awesome, Design uniqueness provides for an overall memorable experience at Hood River. I will surely stay here again, I look forward to spending more time enjoying this property in a different Season.

Overall this was a nice property and a great place for a large group. Two drawbacks: First, there is no common full bathroom with shower. Two of the bedrooms had no bathrooms and the only common bathrooms were only 1/2 baths. Second, there were leaks in the ceiling in the theater downstairs that had obviously been occurring for a while because ceiling tiles were already removed/damaged. I don't expect to rent a property with known/ongoing problems like that.

What a great home. There is plenty of room for everyone. The views are simply incredible. We loved our stay
